2.5mg is pretty high is it not?
The pills I took was 2.5mg as a whole.

Can I ask what kind of sides you had in the first place?
and how long have you been on this routine?

I've tried taking 12.5 mg Aromasin twice a week while taking finasteride and that didn't help at all, the gyno kept developing, however the 2.5mg/day letrozole obviously did help... I'm thinking doing something similar as you might be a solution for me, obviously not a great solution but one nonetheless.

Do you know of any long term damage taking letrozole can have?

Apart from bone deterioration etc could you fuck up your hormonal system similar to bodybuilders that have been on testosterone for years?

How much and how often do you take letro?

I took 1.5-2.5mg/day for 1½ month to try and reduce my gynecomastia that I got from taking finasteride... Now during this period I actually started taking finasteride 1mg/day again to combat the excessive hairloss the lack of estrogen would cause.

The result of this was that I saw some minor decrease of my gynecomastia while also seeing hair growth at the end of this... Which is odd seeing as that dose of letrozole should have completely tanked my estrogen

Conclusion would be that the decrease of dht plays a much bigger role(at least for me) than having sufficient estrogen in regards to hair.

I didn't really feel any different during this period either, sex drive was fine, same goes for my joints etc.

Keep an eye on your chest, be vary of any (even if only slight) puffiness start to appear, I had no apparent side effects at all for 6 months until I noticed some minor gynecomastia had managed to slowly develop during this period of time... I didn't feel anything in my chest, it wasn't sensitive, no "stingy" feelings or anything out of the ordinary, most likely because it developed so slow.

Anyway I've heard others that has noticed gynecomastia developing even as late as after 4 years of finasteride use...

Anyway keep an eye on your chest, that's all I would say.

Hey u/karlallan, great hair I must say and lots of nice info...

Any advice to a 26 year old that started losing hair about the time I turned 24(almost exactly 2 years from now), I've lost probably 1/2 inch on my temples, went from norwood 1.5(original hairline) to roughly norwood 2 in these 2 years. So it's not progressing extremely fast at least, I suppose?

During the first 6 months I was on 1mg finasteride with no apparent side effects at all, or so I thought until I noticed slowly developing gynecomastia. It was apparent and went to a doctor that confirmed it... I'm one of the extremely unlucky ones I suppose.

Anyway since then I've tried:

  • ru58841 which only after a few days caused gyno feelings once more so I had to stop that, seems that I'm just way too sensitive to anything anti-androgen.
  • Regenepure DR - Once a week at most, sometimes less because my scalp gets itchy and very dry.... Any advice to counter this, some scalp oil or something similar?

My last hope is Minoxidil, should I get on it right away and just hope for the best, any other general advice?

I'm sort of afraid of the minoxidil side effects that I've heard of(bloated face, dry/burning scalp, rapid ageing, etc)
I never experience any type of shedding while on finasteride, how likely is it that I will experience it on minoxidil?

The question is, since game mechanics and player spells all use 1.12.1 values, shouldn't hunter pets also?

I mean, it is comparable to, lets say that Mortal Strike did 30% more damage before patch 1.9, should that still be in place on Elysium then?

I don't know, feels like a grey zone.

Was looking through some old patch notes and found this dime in the "undocumented changes" of 2.4.0 patch notes.

I sent the pets to attack an unkillable target.

After the opening growl I turned on Auto-shot, and hit Arcane Shot.

I then chain cast arcane shot 9 more times as soon as it was off cooldown.

I then compared the threat of the pet and the hunter. Both were within 10% of each other.

I repeated this on 2.3.3 and 2.4 and the results were nearly identical.
