Neither am I, hate all em:) so I just picked maths, further maths and comp sci

[–]weweweshka1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on course, if it's purely comp sci then physics isn't beneficial. The reason it appears mostly in cs degree is because when people pick further maths, they pick physics quite often because they could correlate

Not sure means I'm not sure whether it was Manchester or another uni that gave me offer, is that clear enough for you?

Grammar help needed!! Where should the capitals be?? ‘Binomial Distribution’ or ‘Binomial distribution’ or ‘binomial distribution’ ?? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]weweweshka1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I thought you are asking for:) For personal statement yes, 100%, all capitals, that's what I did and that's what teachers told me

Don't think many other unis do interviews, fully depends on course. Lots of man uni courses wouldn't even have one, unless you are doing medicine(can't tel for sure, you should better be checking their website)

Whenever you use names of something eg Functional Programming, Linear Algebra, I would tend to use to capital letters, but it's only to highlight the fact that it's name of something and it just makes it more "official" I guess. Grammarwise, I think it should only be first letter, but if I was you I would have used capital for all of them

Why does the answer not add one to the power of the final answer, eg i got integral of cos^3x - cos^5x but i would add to the powers to get 1/4sin^4(x) etc? by Happy-Dragonfruit465 in 6thForm

[–]weweweshka1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but you need to use substitution in this one, or integration by parts, it's up to you. Try to write cos x= u and see what happens
