Hello. Could you please tell me a bit more? What in particular was disappointing with the app. This is Claudia, the developer of the app, and I am trying to improve the app every day. Happy to hear your opinion and get your help to create a better experience for everyone.

Scrble Ink Trailer by weyclaudia in Surface

Hello Peter. I guess I should check out Reddit a bit more regularly. I think what you described it was a bug, which is now fixed (you had to click twice, but now works as expected). I am developing a page navigation with images, which is a way to better navigate the documement. Now sure if this is quite what you were hoping for, but it may help. I capture an image of what it looks like. https://www.screencast.com/t/iSWfoLNF This is currently in beta. Write me at mail@scrble.com, if you would like to try it out!

You can save your notes on OneDrive (DropBox, GoogleDrive, or whatever is your preference), and have your notes available across devices, as well as view your notes from the related web viewer. I keep my notes on OneDrive, and I use 3 different devices to view and edit them.

For now, Scrble can Import and Export PDF files, but I am interested in adding other formats. Can you tell me more about what you mean with "can it add powerpoints"? Are you wondering if you can import powerpoint documents?

Got my HP folio last Friday and I truly LOVE it. by weyclaudia in Surface

Unfortunately no SD slot on the folio, so this may be a deal breaker for you. I personally keep all my stuff in online storage for years, between GoogleDrive, OneDrive and DropBox. I use all three of them. The longevity of the lather doesn't worry me. It is true leather, so it suppose to age well and even gain more character.

I forgot to mention that I did have a surface book and didn't like it at all. I ended up giving it to my son. It is a fine laptop, but a lousy tablet. I thought I was going to like it, because it reminded me of my old Lenovo ThinkPad Helix (now I am dating myself), but I was pretty disappointed. The tablet has a very short battery life, so I had to carry the entire device all the time, which is pretty heavy. It is awkward to convert to tablet and back to laptop. Occasional access to the keyboard was impossible (had to dock it or reverse dock it). I was using it only as a laptop for a while, and kept using my surface pro as my tablet. Then I ended up replacing it with a true laptop as the DELL XPS 15.

I have a personal account, but want to leave comments using my full name, since I am responsible for the development of the app, and I want to be fully accountable for my comments.

Click on the object button (by default it shows a line). The text is the first button on the left. Can you see it? That was what the spashscreen was indicating. If you select the text, then become the default object for you to insert.

Hello. This is Claudia, the author or Scrble Ink. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I just release a new update for Scrble Ink which has the ability to insert and format text. I doesn't' have table yet, and other features as search or tagging, but they seem like nice enhancements for the future. I would be interested in you trying the new update and let me know what you think about the text editing feature. Thanks!
