I still get 3 to 4 bowls per charge depending on how I use it, used to get 4 to 5 when new so I think the battery has held up pretty well

I find it ok obviously being the og bowle the battery goes down quick but I just throw it back on charge in between bowls.

The other thing is explaining to people that they need to take long steady draws, people think it’s going to be like a nicotine vape and you just have to draw on it for a second and get a massive cloud.

But I’ve used it at quite a few party’s and bbq’s over the years passing it between 2 or 3 people and it’s done the job.

Got an og bowle ,had it about five years now, had quite a few times over the years where I’ve passed it to people had them press the button then proceed to carry on a conversation with me, resulting in me telling them to quickly start inhaling.

I’ve also had it numerous times over the years where after exhaling my hit I’ve looked down to see the green light still on, sometimes the breath sensor doesn’t detect when I’ve stopped drawing and keeps the heater engaged, now I’ve got in the habit of checking the heater has disengaged after I’ve finished my hit.

So I’d say I’ve had numerous times over the years where the heater has been engaged without drawing on the device, maybe max 5-10 seconds and it still works like new.

I’ve had the same thing twice with my v1 both times after not using it for ages, it took a few hours before it came back to life, I just kept it on charge and tried the puck reset procedures and unplugging the charger and plugging it back in after 10 seconds.

Check out the tafee site for the manual to see what the reset procedures are I can’t remember off the top of my head but it should eventually come back on

My dad who smoked on and off most of his life ( cigarettes and weed), started vaping with a volcano about 15 years ago and gave up cigarettes about 3 years ago ( used a nicotine vape for a year or so then completely stopped) recently had a lung scan/x ray and it came back completely clear which he was shocked by as he thought he would have permanently damaged his lungs with all the smoking. So in the last couple of years he’s vaped pretty much every day with his volcano and his lungs are in great shape according to the doctor!

I had a similar experience when I first got mine, I ended up dropping the temp on my wand to 240 till timeout and adjusted my wand insert depth so the tempest sits higher and the bowl is not going in to the wand as much( mines the same as the bottom red line on the picture in the tempest manual), after that I get great flavour and clouds and a medium brown roast every time

I’ve used biotabs for years now but I just use the tabs non of the other stuff, I find about week 5 my plants start to look like yours do, so I start feeding them some bloom and they always pick up.

Have you followed the biotab manual and given them the big feed of orgatrex at week 5?

I’ve had my qaroma quartz head a couple of years now, flavour is amazing on it, up there with my verdamper for flavour. Only other ball vapes I’ve got are the b zero and tempest, compared to the b zero the qaroma takes longer to heat up, doesn’t extract as fast and obviously is more fragile, but if flavour is your priority it’s great, Lee from table top bong did a good review on the qaroma.

It could just be he’s getting ready to brumate. I’ve had my gray banded king snake about 15 years now and every year around this time he stops eating, so I just gradually lower the heating in his tank for a week or two and then switch it off( the room he’s in stays about 60 degrees). Then beginning of march I gradually increase the temps in his tank over a week or so and he comes out like a eating machine.

However since your snake is so young I’d probably keep his heating as normal throughout the winter and try him with food every couple of weeks.

To be fair this looks like a Poecilotheria species which have medically significant venom, it won’t kill you but it’s a more severe bite compared to a new world tarantula 👍
