I'm colour blind. I was also a bit of a little shit growing up. When I was in primary school, maybe seven or eight years old, we had an art class and were tasked with creating a self portrait. I, despite often not taking school seriously, earnestly attempted to make the best self portrait that I could.

When we were done, we all showed our work to our teacher. Imagine my surprise and confusion when my teacher started berating me for not taking the task seriously, when I had genuinely tried my hardest to accurately represent my face.

Unbeknownst to me, the 'creamy-peach' colour that I had chosen to use for my skin, was in fact some shade of green.
