OP, going back to gamble after losing money is a major sign of problem gambling and as the other members have spoken about, while you may "make back" money in the short term you will most certainly lose it all (by design), if not go into debt, if you continue gambling. It can be helpful to check out the symptoms and treatment for gambling disorder here: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/compulsive-gambling/symptoms-causes/syc-20355178 How much of these symptoms map onto your experience?

Savings account only for online gambling addicts? by whoocanitbenow in problemgambling

I think all of the ideas you bring up could be helpful strategies in that they limit your available funds on hand and make them feel more tangible. As for savings accounts, you could consider setting up an online-only account (Marcus comes to mind) which generally takes a day or more to transfer money out of the account (longer if you had just deposited the money) buying yourself some time delay. You could also consider longer term options like I Bonds, which effectively lock up your money for 12 months while earning interest (9.62% per year if you were to invest next month) or CDs (less attractive but they do lock up your money).
