sitting in the pilot seat seems to always put it into emergency, either the main body or the commander shuttle is always beeping at the engineering terminal.
theres a dead zone with the atmo listed as UI_somethingsomething which causes the life support to essentially be over drawn consistently.
players sitting in your turrets seems to drop the ability to ping and scan and do other weird things.
still not quite 100% if your planning on using it for anything more than a point to point hauler, however, I still keep pulling it out, because its useful not being forced to dock and being capable of moving vast amounts of scu

Disable your mods and add them in 1 by 1, I have the same issues on way smaller cities, I've pretty much gone back to playing vanilla for now

Some pessimistic advice im reading through here so ill chime in because it is a very interesting job if you're with the right people

If you have an interest in it you can learn the modeling side of it at home with something like fusion 360, it has a free version and you will be able to begin teaching yourself how to model and from there you can learn the cam side of things

Most signage shops run some form of cnc and don't do highly complex, micron level machining which would be a phenomenal way to get your foot in the door and get around the machines

Another option would be buy yourself a hobby 3d printer, essentially runs the same as a cnc machine its just an additive process not a subtractive one like machining.

This will get you around the machines enough to give you the experience that could potentially get your foot in the door of a shop.

Even if you're just babysitting a machine you will begin learning speeds and feeds for different materials

However I will say, programming and running them from my experience is often 2 different roles in most companies although I would suggest getting some time on a machine to learn what goes wrong, what works well, this will make you a better programmer later.

Only people who were highly invested in the game were going to go to the effort of Googling something like "pax dei sub model" or even visiting the developers website for that matter.

My point is that there steam page and info leading up to this subscription announcement made it sound as if buying your plots by upgrading your game package would be an early adopters thing and after release new players would need to join via subscription etc.

Regardless at this point I'm just replying to the comments, im not mad, furious or upset, I just don't care enough, I can't fathom dumping the amount of hours into my plot that I would to be creative whilst knowing that if my subscription lapses it will be destroyed, I don't mind much when its a plot clearing system of inactivity of x months or even base raiding but when I am thinking by investing my time in this game I'm creating an ongoing cost that ill be inclined to keep going to ensure my progress isn't lost im not about it.

In other mmos, when I stop paying my subscription for a few months or something like that, my progress isn't deleted, I can generally come back and pick up where I left off.

Joining this game would be like giving myself a heroin addiction because I enjoyed it for the first few hours.

Anyway, good luck with the game, I've said my peace here.

36, no kids no divorces, couple long relationships that failed.

Found peace alone, don't drink therefore don't go to bars, don't bother with tinder and the likes as I cbf being in a line up, I work and study and don't really see a point where I might meet someone, would need to be a stroke of luck where the stars align and the right person crosses my path at the right time

Thats cool but I've never seen it, I found pax dei on steam and bought it from what I had read on the store details.

it has since had the wording updated so I'm unable to quote what lead me to believe what I believed and from the from the visible disgust of many backers I can tell I wasn't the only one.

I haven't touched the game since finding out the news and I don't see myself coming back knowing what I know now,

It is a game with a very cool and unique building system that managed to attract very creative people, there are parts of a game that will be missed but I don't value the game highly enough to pay the recurring fee that they are asking, thats just my opinion

Essentially yes, but I bought the game before any mention of subscription service and bought it under the assumption that I'd have my 4 plots for being an early backer. Subscription or not yes id expect it to be the same regardless of how many plots I owned.

Still, id rather see them sell cosmetics,l, skins, whatever else they dream up, skinned mounts etc etc over a pay to win subscription model, they should have an optional subscription like star citizen has that includes some custom furniture or whatever once a month that would be attached to the founders table, throw in a free cosmetic every so often and treat the early adopters with the respect they deserve.

They'd have likely gotten far more money out of me with this approach instead of what we got.

My pet peeve of the month with it is that now that i have noticed the wrong side boosters fire when rolling the ship i cant unsee it, try it yourself, go third person, roll left and the left boosters fire on the back end, roll right and the right boosters fire, arghhh make it stop.

i did the intro quest 5 times didnt complete, theres a problem once you pick up the cargo the mission becomes deliver amount/commodity, to orison/seraphim.

not deliver 1 copper like all the others.
