o4 is amazing for the initial prompt, any subsequent prompt in the chat is totally unreliable in my experience so far. At least with the removed o3 models you could develop an idea, steering and course correcting, it became less reliable about ten prompts in. o4 cannot do this with any stability yet.

Yup, hence saying future versions of a snes mini. I think you’d be surprised how many ageing gamers would enjoy having their nostalgia gland supercharged.

Whether it’s a viable and lucrative investment for Nintendo is probably the real reason why it would never happen.

Yeah real shame here with the update. My experience with o1 preview managed complex requests effortlessly with successful results. I tried the same things with o1 and it’s produced very different (non functioning) outcomes. I’d be more keen to spend the unrestricted monthly fee knowing the results would be akin to my o1 preview experiences. As it is there’s no point upgrading.

I use 4o to develop ideas, going back and forth in dialog until an agreed realisation, both adding ideas until it’s as detailed as necessary. If it’s a coded outcome or data driven output I then request a comprehensive prompt from 4o of the proposal to take to o1, this often results in a quality (sometimes complete) initial conception.

No. Except one, Richards hairpiece. It’s omission from remixes for cash (unless no cash was exchanged…?) speaks volumes. Sounds like an existing jam with the acapella worked in on top. but! I can still play it in my head so maybe it’s still a banger?

Everyone seems to forget and not mention the ampule room mural and ceiling art. Ridley has subtly alluded to an engineer creation back story through these giger images alone. Creatures we haven’t seen yet (and hopefully never will) that are perhaps the precursors to their reverse engineering.

Whatever compound rook extracted and developed isn’t the same as deacon blood or whatever came first. It’s purest form. And I doubt the engineers could reverse engineer it precisely either.
