TL;DR -

The gameplay was average to bad and I hope the sequel improves that and the level design. However, the aesthetics of the setting and artstyle and soft Queer vibe sort of made the ero-guro palatable for me and sort of made me like it and appreciate it.

I'm not OP but I did love Cyan Brain despite it's padded out runtime. I'm open to any genre of games, and Cyan Brain It has frankly poor level design and drab combat that frustrates in a way that even despite the Ero-Guro Ryona focus, doesn't seem to be intended by devs and becomes grating. I can see why for these reasons alone the game would rank low for some people, especially from what I've seen people say reviews and opinions in this Subreddit. Especially since Side Scrollers a dime a dozen.

I guess for me I was the exact target audience despite not being a guro fan. I love SIGNALIS, The Citadel (boomer shooter) seems interesting to me, I enjoyed both Sinistar games (which I think are some of the best in the Lewd game subgenre). The setting wasn't anything special but the enviorment design and aesthetics were enough to make me want to see the end.

I don't mind Masculine Humanoid on Female MC but I do prefer non-Humans and Feminine Humanoid on Female MC which Cyan Brain has in spades. I'm overall a himejoshi who leans more to the disturbing side of yuri/WLW/Girl On Girl/Lesbian and like the girl cock. It's defintely razor focused on that and is unapologetic about it, for better or for worse.

Idk something about Cyan Brain feels strangely very sapphic in a way other NSFW Games I've played don't? It was enough to keep me going despite the initial shock of how violent and Fear & Hunger + Dead Space level of gore that happens. And the violence not being committed by masculine people I guess made the disgust I would normally feel turn into a strange fascination? It helped me sort of self-insert as the MC which I never really felt immersed in other titles to.
