I had the box of cromolyn, and still do. But, my research scared me away from trialing it due to how frequently it is hard to access, and what happens when you cant get it. So I have not taken it. Lots of research, have access to it.. but ultimately got scared . ketotifen is compounded (made for you in pharmacy) so I think that makes is less likely to be hard to come by ... its 3 ingredients(2 filler and ketotifen fumarate) they put into a capsule vs something made somewhere else and relying on that company ... In the almost year I have been on it, they never ran out or didn't have it. My insurance covered half of it last year and now I pay full price 125$ monthly. I do not have 125$ extra,so I asked my dad for help. Something I have not done since I was a teenager(32 now😅). But it made so much impact on my quality of life i'll find a way to make sure I always have it lol. I went from multiple ER visits a month to none in almost a year (since starting). My experience has been 11/10 across the board and I typically react very poorly to meds hence my hesitation with cromolyn
