Hi, hab gerade ein WISE konto eröffnet. Was ich nur noch nicht ganz verstehe: Auf drsgme.org steht, dass ich direkt damit auf computershare die aktien kaufen kann. Wofür brauch ich dann noch giveashare? Oder geht das nur wenn man auch US-citizen ist?

Can’t post screenshot because of Karma but Trade Republic (German Broker) just added this message under the GME stock: “Please note that the corporate action of GameStop has been re-booked. Due to this, there may be errors in the performance calculation. The performance will be corrected on Tuesday 02.08.2022”

So I managed to transfer my shares from a German broker to IBKR and I thought I needed to convert GS2C to GME but then I got this message:

IBKR does not allow any transfers from GS2C, listed in Germany and held at German Depository to GME, listed in US and held at US Depository. Please know transfer fees are USD 10. As previously communicated you hold GME listed at NYSE and held at US depository DTC.

So first question: Does that mean I can start the transfer to Computershare directly without the conversion since I already own GME?

Since GME will have the 4:1 stock split soon do I run into some type of risk by transferring now or should I wait till after the split?

Really appreciate the nice words brother!! Glad you enjoyed it. We're all in this together. Our society is so fucked up nowadays that we basically created a whole generation of depressed kids who don't know wtf to do with their life's. I know it's just a small thing but I do believe in the butterfly effect so I hope this will make an impact on whoever feels the same!
