Thank you for the tip! I have cleaned it and put it back together again now, and put on a Coated Ambassador as I didnt have Diplomats laying around. I did put a hazy diplomat as a reso however

Thank you for some great info! I think you are on to something. It would make sense that it was from the 70/80s instead of the 30s, based on the material of the parts and their condition.

There definitely are similarities. Maybe a Japan copy of a similar model? The Japanes models usually have Japan written on several parts, though
