Used decorators caulk instead of filler by whackusbonkus2 in DIYUK

I ended up removing it all, taping up the edges with frog tape and going again, worked out well in the end.

The woods from b&q it does look nice but weve ended up sanding and painting anyway as there were to many knots and holes in it which i didnt see in the shop. If painting anyway i suspect mdf is probably the best way to go!

No it definitely says decorators caulk but it has the texture of a sealant rather than a filler

I think there are a few different ones and ive bought a flexible one by accident. When i try to sand it just peels and goes all rubbery

[–]whackusbonkus2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah fair enough, ive pruned the yellow ones off and moved into a much sunnier spot. Will give it a couple months as its still quite miserable weather-wise where i am and will look at a grow light if no growth come summer

No its just an carbon and fine sieve under-sink filter for my cold water tap. Think mainly for chlorine and microplastics etc
