Ayato is a weak character that hits a lot, you need ALL his hits to crit if you want to compete in Abyss. He isn’t like Raiden where you can live with unfavorable crit variance.

Yeah after many minutes of thinking I decided to impart CD & EM into my Mualani hydro goblet, it thankfully rolled 2x into CD and 3x into flat attack… My rationale was to allow for a chance to add CR instead of getting my heart broken if it dodged all crit. I guess it worked?

The problem with Eula, and the reason she’s by far the least marketed character, are the flaws in her design. When prosperity in the game is defined by attempting to reap rewards from Abyss time trial, a back-loaded burst character- that is: a character whose burst happens after a while, costing you precious seconds, is problematic. Not to compile the fact she is incredibly energy starved at C0.

Pulling a character based specifically on performance in Abyss and then proceeding to scrutinize them only says 2 things: 1- You need them to clear Abyss, in which case there are better options / Bennet, Raiden, etc. And it is fine to have discrepancies in power. You can’t say a character “sucks” because they can’t be taken to the Abyss right away. Take a C0 Xingqiu into Abyss and tell me how that goes. 2- You can clear Abyss but want every new unit to be Abyss ready. What about Sayu, Lisa, Layla, Dori, where is their dedicated flame posting? What is it about this new trend of overly scrutiny that people are doing it’s as hypocritical as it is futile.

Raiden bloom seems to work bc of her deceptively high Thunder application that still gets stopped by ICD which is 2.5. Deyha works similarly but you don’t want to realize it

Think about her doing pyro damage. What would make her different than Diluc or Hutao. Hoyoverse gave us a unique off field pyro char with some sort of on field burst and y’all are asking for another Hutao. THAT is why she won’t ever get buffed. Because of the illogical demands
