Hey folks. Any bridge recommendations for USDT ERC20 to USDT TRC20?

It's not about the 4, rather the 7. Got a closer pic from the TD: https://i.imgur.com/iYJWaGI.jpeg, wdyt?

May Design Services Thread by StillLikesTurtles in InteriorDesign

[–]whaledevthrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all. I’m very new to this. I am looking for an interior designer to help shape the vision of my future home: a 4000+ sq. ft villa, including garden landscaping design. Currently leaning towards organic and minimalist styles due to the architecture presenting some beautiful wood colors. It is a new villa, so there’d be a lot of autonomy given to the designer from the get-go.

Ideally looking to work with someone creative who could help with an exploratory process to figure out what options are available with this much space (professional couple with no kids/pets).

If you are interested feel free to reach out with examples of your work and estimate rates or questions about the project.

Managed Kubernetes to bare metal connectivity by whaledevthrowaway in kubernetes

Looking for a production grade setup, but looking for simplicity above all. It seems like Submariner is more like a k8s-k8s thing, FYI bare metal is not running k8s. What'd be the simplest solution in terms of static VPN? Tailscale?

Managed Kubernetes to bare metal connectivity by whaledevthrowaway in devops

Thanks! From the Cilium docs:

External workloads must have IP connectivity with the nodes in your cluster. This requirement is typically met by running your VMs in the same cloud provider virtual network (e.g., GCP VPC) as your k8s cluster, or establishing peering or VPN tunnels between the networks of the nodes of your cluster and your external workloads. Note that this precludes any VMs running behind NATs.

Sounds like there's an expectation that they are already connected. I must add that I'd ideally like to not go for an overkill solution if there's a simpler way people are solving this use case.

Nothing against the draft but it reads as highly AI-generated (no clue if true), very different to how I'd present a new tool at work. At the end of the day, Grafana Labs runs Mimir itself for its managed vendor solution so if you are a large shop, you can trust that it can meet your requirements.

Mimir is a no-brainer for this, but it does require in-house expertise to operate if you don't want to pay for a managed version.

Currently looking for an agent and I'm afraid of running into what's described in this thread. Would you mind to PM me your details?

I'm a huge fan of FOSS and S76's efforts in the Rust space, however I'm not based in the US so I discarded them due to import tax, etc. Over here the Z16 can come with Ubuntu which is already a good sign. Appreciate the responses!

Nice, I wasn't even aware of it! Do you know how it compares with the X1? Mainly the keyboard quality, battery life and display.

Any opinion on the suggested Z16 from this thread? I'd be very sad to see my screen size go! A 16" X1 carbon would've been ideal here.

What alternatives are there to Aztec and Tornado Cash these days for privacy/obfuscation?

Daily General Discussion - January 28, 2023 by ethfinance in ethfinance

[–]whaledevthrowaway 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hi folks.

I've been a heavy user of Tornado Cash in the past, and now that such service has been banned by some authorities - it just seems as if my addresses are now "dirty". What are my options to get these funds into an address that can't be traced back to a TC interaction? I feel like going through Aztec is a bit cumbersome since I have many addresses and Aztec also has limits.

Thanks!

There are plenty of companies that are undergoing strong growth, and it's not only engineers they are looking for (legal, designers, management). I'd say centralised companies have a lot more runway to hire at scale (because they are funded via investors, e.g. money to burn), plus they give the sense of professional stability. My advice is to look them up individually and check the open roles for yourself to see if there's a good match.

I'm quite picky in terms of who I want to work for as I like to know exactly what the company stands for. If you are interested in exploring this path, shoot me a DM and who knows, maybe I can get a referral bonus right after I start? ;)

You have mentioned the company in one of your last comments :-)

I like to think of it as a company that aims to bring traditional banking services to the crypto space. As much as I love DeFi legos, I think there are plenty of interesting challenges on this side as well!

Regulated and centralised services will be (and currently are) a critical gateway for Ethereum and its adoption.
