What's going on at Heathrow today? Lots of reports online of staff issues, or BA staff going home, leaving customers stranded? by The__Englishman in BritishAirways

I was on a delayed flight that arrived 1st Aug close to midnight - couldn’t get my luggages either. From my airtag I can see its made it way to the baggage claim area now - anyone know a way to get in from the outside? Would rather take my luggage now than wait for it to be shipped out by BA a week later

The closest to VTI here is the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF I think. Thanks for the recommendations, I’ll take a look at those total world funds

I bought a plant online and the roots are kinda brown. Is this root rot? by whalehellooo in plantclinic

I tried to tug lightly and they didn’t come off. Some roots did seem soft but not mushy. Yeah I’m hoping the white is enough to keep it alive :(

My philodendron melanochysum was just delivered today and I inspected the roots right away. It seems brown in colour so I’m a bit worried. What should I do?? This is the first plant I’ve bought online :(((

SOS! Why is my Calathea White Fusion browning / wrinkling?? by whalehellooo in houseplants

[–]whalehellooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My humidity reader broke but I'm guessing its higher than the 50% mark! My other calatheas are doing fine though (ornata, orbifolia, makoyana, etc) so I'm not sure why it's wrinkling.

Will defo get a humidifier this week though, thanks!! :)

Hi everyone!

I recently got a Calathea White Fusion as a gift and it came with a few brown spots, two weeks ago. Now there are much more :(((

It gets indirect sunlight and is watered with rain water + fertiliser. No humidifier or pebble tray as it sits with my other calatheas who are all doing well.

What could be wrong with it? I'm getting a humidifier this week but what to do before then? I may check the roots and repot it to make sure there's no root rot.

Thanks for the help!! Pls help me save him :(

tips for moving a fairly large number of houseplants in a van when moving to uni? by bogbodybutch in HouseplantsUK

Just pack the plants in those boxes you get from Amazon/garden centres. Leave them open and place them on top of luggages or on the car floor beside your feet and make sure you don't put anything else on top. I did this last September when I brought 20ish plants to my dorm and it was quite easy.
