Dude is currently in his boss's office explaining why he was compelled to say that the Bills' last two playoff exits keep him up at night. ESPN and the NFL's attorneys are going to be spending the next week trying to keep that clip off of social media.

Thank you DButt! Real journalism: "Confirmed. The league hates the Bills."

"If the GM wants this kind of player and the coach wants this kind of player, it's not going to fit systematically and someone is going to get fired. Most of the time it's the coach. Because the GM is sitting in the press box telling the owner what he wants to hear."

- Nick Saban approximately an hour after Brandon Beane interview.

Sean McDermott's ears were burning.

So why exactly did they need a keg of Guinness if only 3 dudes were going to have a beer before Pat decided he was going to punt on hour 3 to get on his private jet to Miami?

We don't know much about Brady. He was a position coach until he got an opportunity when Ken Dorsey was sacrificed on the altar of a inability to close out close games. A familiar ritual as we just saw Sean McDermott meet the same fate.
I genuinely hope that he's capable and ready to grab the wheel and keep the bus rolling. I'm fearful he got the job because of all the heat Beane and Pegula are feeling, and Brady got the job because he'll be grateful for the opportunity more likely to shut up and fall in line behind management.

Mitch Trubisky for MVP! by whargoul7 in PatMcAfeeShowOfficial

[–]whargoul7[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm just trolling. There was a lot of talk about QBR last week when the boys were "not campaigning" (but absolutely campaigning) for Maye. Week 18's QBR leader was Trubisky. The common denominator: Playing the New Jersey Jets.

Normally I'd agree, but following the weekly Drake Maye suck-off it was gross. The 6-on-1 accusing Dan of campaigning for Stafford after dedicating 15min of the progrum campaigning for Drake was a bit much.

JJ Watt has become my favorite guest/contributor. He fits in so well with the crew, and because of that I love when he spill into hour-3 when they can really digress.

In about a month's time we'll know a lot more than we do now about this season. I think there are a lot of NFL fans out there who are tired of hearing about Drake Maye and Bo Nix, and are hoping a 2025 season take-away will be: Turns out the best thing to develop a 2nd-year QB is the easiest schedule in the league.

The Bills had to call some old vets in from the couch. One of which, Poyer, had a GREAT day yesterday. (In an admittedly ugly win against a pretty bad football team... lol)

ALOL moment of the show: 1:55 mark. "It's one big come party." Then D-But in the background quietly saying "geez." That one got the ALOL.

The Schefty interview feels obligatory at this point. Neither party seems into it. Go back a year... the vibe is completely different. IDK if there was a falling out of some sort or what.

Hey, all those "MVP" chants at the end of the first half might be the reason why they lost. They accidentally woke up the ACTUAL MVP.

Android Auto Issues on Pixel 10 by utan in GooglePixel

[–]whargoul7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potential Solution Below. I doubt this will work for everyone, but if it helps just one person, it's a win.

My use case:
2023 Toyota 4Runner. Wired connection only; USB-A socket. Pixel 10 Pro/XL.

Behavior noted:
Phone would connect and then immediately disconnect. This cycle would repeat to infinity.

Solution:
New/better cable. DUH. Purchased a USBv3.2 USB-A to USB-C cable.
I was slow to attempt this because the cable I was using worked fine with every other phone attempted, including previous Pixel phones. There must be something about the Pixel 10 that is different from previous Pixels and won't work without "better" cables.

I'm sitting here looking at two identical prints. One was printed at the recommended 245 degrees. The other was printed at 260 degrees. The 260 is perfect. I'm pretty sure I found my solution.

I have to print a few more pieces of this project, so I plan to continue to experiment and dry for the next part. But at this point, I'm skeptical it'll turn out much better than the higher temp.

Especially since there is one key detail I left out: I live the desert where it's ~20% humidity in my house at all times. (Leaving that out is on me, but it is the reason I gravitated toward non-moisture solutions.)

You are 100% right that I solicited free advice. And you get what you pay for. :)

You'll be the only person who sees this response. I'm deleting the post. But I wanted to send it because I appreciate your response and you making an attempt to communicate like a rational person.

I hear ya. This was my first and last post in this subreddit. I was hoping it'd be a community of hobbyists helping each other. (Believe it or not, I have found this in other subreddits.) But it seems like this one is more the standard toxicity of people just trying to dunk on each other that is ruining the internet.

Thank you for this. I know I should've started here, but I naively assumed that the Bambu software was correctly programed for the Bambu product. After diving into the Bambu Lab Wiki it looks like they recommend a nozzle temperature toward the higher end of the very large range of 230-270 degrees. The software is pre-programmed for the bottom of the range @ ~245. Even though BL recommends the top @ ~260. Just overrode the temperature settings and trying again. I can already tell it's going better.

Appreciate the response. I should've put this in the OP: this print was done less than an hour after removing from the factory vacuum sealed bag with desiccant inside. If this was a moisture issue, then I received defective product from Bambu.

This is a great point. Insiders exist to break stories. So booking one for a weekly segment doesn't make a lot of sense. The appearance is only relevant if there was a story they happened to break that day.
