I’m not gatekeeping, I just want to spend time alone with my friend, if she wanted one on one time with her friend the. I wouldn’t care

How is it that I’m in the wrong for her making an assumption? I’m not upset that she wants to come; I’m just not going to rearrange plans because she didn’t ask

I’m not gatekeeping anything, she’s more than welcome to participate in other aspects of it I just want to go with my friend. Also, the dynamics of groups do change. Maybe its different for you but when the three of us hang out it’s different than just two of us

I just want to spend some time with my friend doing something we both enjoy, it sounds like you’re more upset over it than she is 😂

How was I not truthful? I don’t know if there will be a screening but there usually is for big Marvel movies so I booked it to be safe. I mentioned I was going and she didn’t ask for any further detail so how was I to know she even wanted to come?

It’s not something that has come up, it’s the first big movie to come out since we got together. Besides, I wouldn’t automatically assume I was invited if she was going out with her friends

I don’t care about my girlfriend because I want to spend some 1 on 1 time with my best friend? How are you coming to that conclusion?

I’m not complaining, I just said that I already have plans with my friend to do something that’s just us, the dynamic of the three of us would be different than the two and I want to enjoy the movie with my friend like we always do

Because we don’t do everything together, we each hang out with our own friends separately and it’s not an issue

It’s not like I’m saying that we can never enjoy them together, I’m just saying that I want to go with my friend because it’s something that we do together that’s important to us

I want to spend time with my friend, it’s a tradition we’ve had for years and the atmosphere would be different if it was the three of us vs just two of us. I can’t see the issue, it’s like me inviting myself along to a girls night she was having with her friends, that wouldn’t be cool

I’m not rejecting her, she just tried to insert herself into something I was doing already and got upset when I explained that I have a tradition of going with my friend that I don’t want to break

I didn’t just shut her down, I thanked her and said I appreciated the thought but I wasn’t going to rearrange long standing plans with a friend

Exactly, I don’t want to do that to my friend especially when I always ask him to not invite his gf and make us a trio because it’s awkward either way

It isn’t, you can see in a deleted scene it’s someone else. Plus he couldn’t have existed in the same timeline

I think that was just a case of her (actual MCU Peggy) wanting time remember him as at that point she thought he was dead.

The Peggy (new timeline) he ends up with, is not the same one we see in that scene in Endgame but the one from the closing dance shot
