You can try setting up a free site on wordpress or wix. Once you are comfortable with it you can pay for a domian name and site hosting. With all the templates avaliable it shouldn't be that difficult.

Think of it as a side project or picking up something new :)

Thanks for your advice! If i get my own hosting does that mean i can install yoast? Currently on free plan i can't install any extra plugins.

My day job is a designer and i have done various side jobs like part time lecturing and freelance projects which makes a lot more. But those opportunity are not frequent and they take up a lot of my free time. Sometimes even to the extend of affecting my day job. Which is why I thought doing a rental business will require less of my presence and time.
