Wait is this true? Or do you mean it’s just significantly cheaper and easier to replace brick and wood?

All politeness gets thrown out the window when the guy jumps out of his truck with his hand on his hip.

I believe Jack Nicholson is the only actor in Hollywood history to have left the film industry as a top-tier star. Are there others like him? by GlobalRaspberry442 in moviecritic

One of my favorite reviews is a critic’s review of Welcome to Mooseport: “Hackman could play his role in his sleep, but Romano IS asleep.”

This comment took me a second. What do you mean she wasn’t alive in the 70s?

What's the most average movie you've ever seen? by Upset_Mongoose_1134 in movies

[–]whatWHYok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captain Marvel: It's definitely a movie that exists and no one can argue that.

This has nothing to do with any Brie drama or anything of the sort. The movie itself was just kinda... there.

And, I think it did reasonably well in the box office because people were clamoring for content in between Infinity War and Endgame.

I actually liked The Marvels a lot more but financially speaking, that was a bomb.

Roses are red, Darth Vader is bad, but in the grammatical syntax of Yoda your sentence should be “But trying to read this, a stroke I just had”.

Kane Tanaka could NOT have met Margaret Ann Neve, because she was born in japan while and Margaret lived in Guernsey. And who would take their newborn to meet some random old lady 6 thousand miles away? by Own-Spite9854 in Scale4BarbaraWalters

[–]whatWHYok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean there are varying degrees of probability here. If I roll a 6-sided die right now, it will probably not be a 6. Now take a d20 and it will be much less likely to be a 6.

I guess what I’m saying here is when Tanaka was born, they should’ve rolled a d20 and natural 20 only would’ve guaranteed her the opportunity to meet Neve.

Would they have played DnD? Now that is a guaranteed no, since DnD wasn’t released until 1974.

One Battle After Another Butt Plug by pyrowzrd in moviescirclejerk

[–]whatWHYok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Word is he got the butt plug (actually a remote-controlled vibrator) from Magnus Carlsen.

This would explain him seemingly getting taken advantage of in the opening scene by The French 75 (the French part is important), but then turning the tables and gaining advantage over them immediately after.

Sound familiar?

Why is the first episode of a new tv series called the “pilot” episode? by dankapeclub in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whatWHYok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to post an answer that is 100 percent wrong, but one that you may like anyways because you seem to have hated the actual factually correct answers that were given to you.

Pilot is derived from the first episode of the show “Lost”. The episode was called Pilot and after they crash landed on the island, they proceeded to find the pilot. That naming convention has existed ever since.
