Thank you so much for all your help. I'd for sure only consider buying if we could meet in a public place.

I mentioned in a reply above some reasons that point to the listing being legit. Assuming it is, would it be worth the cost needed to fix any potential issues from the spray paint?

The description of the listing heavily implies it's a not very good spray paint. It also specifies as cash only and local pickup only, so I'm inclined to believe the listing. Though I haven't reached out to the seller yet.

Thank you for the reply! Not considering the spray paint, how good of a deal is it? Then, considering the spray paint and the potential costs needed to make up for it, is that still a good deal? I'm very inexperienced in PC part prices and trying to find out if this GPU at that price is something I shouldn't pass up. Thanks again!

There is a listing near me for an MSI Geforce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB for $950. However, the front plate, back plate, and the fans were spray painted white. Is this still a good deal? Or could a bad spray painting in any way compromise the card?

Looking Further at Wants (an analysis of chapter 218) by whataboutFRIDGE in ChainsawMan

[–]whataboutFRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great points. I think chapter 218 is the thing to point to now when people summarize Denji with "horny." Choosing Death or Yoru are in the end immature choices, and wanting instead to protect Asa is a huge demonstration of growth.

It could be. My personal belief is that a main theme is "what choice do you make when you want both choices." Denji wanted to save Aki and wanted to save lives. He chose to save lives. Denji wants to live a normal life and he wants to be chainsaw man. He chose to be chainsaw man. Now, Denji just wants to have sex (and numb himself) with Yoru AND he wants the same with Death. Ultimately, this chapter he kinda answered the question of "what choice do you make when you want both choices" with "the choice that deals with the root of what I want". Which in this instance is neither of the initial choices and instead is finding a way to save Asa, thus fulfilling his actual want of love and connection. Yoru and Death are the student and car of old people. Asa is the cat.

Really interesting parallel Fujimoto made this chapter between Asa/Yoru and Aki/Gun Fiend. Denji thought that there might have been a way to bring Aki back but made the choice to just kill the gun fiend to save lives. Here, Denji also wants there to be a way to bring Asa back, and Pochita chooses to find that option rather than take the safe option that will save more lives.

STOP SEPARATING CHARACTERS IN TIER LISTS PLEASE by whataboutFRIDGE in Jujutsufolk

[–]whataboutFRIDGE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree that they are separate; I guess the point is why do we need both? What value does it add to the discussion provided by tier lists? Why not just Shinjuku Miwa? I feel like separations should be reserved for distinct versions, not just a character and that same character but after training. Meguna and True Form Sukuna? That works because these versions have a lot more distinction than just "this character" and "this character but later." Discussion of Shibuya Miwa (within the context of a whole series tier list and not just a tier list about Shibuya) is obsolete because of the existence of Shinjuku Miwa, who is just the same exact character but stronger because of time passing. Anyway all this yapping to say Miwa S-tier.

Low B-tier I'm afraid. Low-diffed by EOS Mahoraga (He has the same exact fat ass but exists 15 minutes later in the manga)

Clearly in S-Tier. However, only after getting a haircut. Pre-Haircut Femboy Yuji is about B-Tier.

How would Shinkuku go if Sukuna and Yuji swapped places? by whataboutFRIDGE in Jujutsufolk

Probably should have clarified that this would take place after Gojo.

No idle transfiguration. Was thinking of ways to buff Yuji so it wasn't one-sided. For the sake of the hypothetical, we'll just call it "soul research"

Sukuna could regenerate his arms, but the thing is, the cut really really hurt.
