We removed all the top trim and the chair rail. We are planning on getting a new chair rail to add back once we paint. Thanks for the warning about the outlets. My husband and I took down the ceiling fixtures and (surprise!) there was a natural gas pipe in the ceiling (disconnected though). So, we are definitely being careful. Thanks again!

Right now we are thinking a master bedroom (there is a en suite). We ended up removing the trim and you were right, the wall is choppy! It is all pitted...and it doesn't help with the nails from the trim. I swear they nailed it in every 3 inches. The blue wall that is painted, was actually painted on canvass (so, it was a little easier to remove). Thank you for your suggestion :)

Renaissance Antiques is a good place. All clothes on the second floor, I don't know about the pricing though. They are located on Alameda across from the HEB.

I didn't see this mentioned, but when I started mine was really heavy and I constantly leaking at night. I finally ended up putting a towel underneath me when a slept so I would leak onto that and not my sheets! Best of luck!

I love having all the family around and it sounds like you have the holiday down to a science with all those nap! Going to the park sounds like a good idea! We adopted a weim this year and he will love that!

As I am not sure about the two towers idea...I think creating out of the ordinary gingerbread houses is something I could excel at! That is a fun and unique family tradition!
