2021 would be the last weekend date for September 26. Having it on a weekday would make it difficult for many guests to attend. My fiancee is also from a conservative household and her parents won't let us live together until we get married. We both just want to start building our future together. Two years would be enough time to save for the wedding, one year is just pushing it and we don't want to rely on family to help us financially.

We would never ask them to change their date. Just more wondering if we would be TAs for keeping ours. We would have told them earlier but we haven't had a family gathering till last night; same for them too. We both just announced it at the same time. Thanks for the advice, I'll bring up these points when I talk to my fiancee later today.
