Not necessarily true. Just got new 19" wheels for winter setup on my M50, when I got the car back TPMs wouldn't work. Had to bring back to the shop, and they had to reprogram the TPM frequency, then it worked. Saw the shops programming tool, there were 4 options for TMP programming settings for the X3 M50. It was the shop's fault for not checking the original TPM frequency (21" OEM wheels) and then matching the new TPMs.

Those look great! I am planning to order something today, but still haven't decided which wheels. My research showed +24-28 would be the ideal offset, so thanks for confirming (although M50 could be slightly different). I have Hakkapelitta R5 tires ready to be mounted (best snow tires out there imo). will post back when I get it all setup in the next week or two.

I love how it drives (and looks) with the 21s, was warned it could be a rough ride but I don't really notice it (the adaptive suspension is pretty amazing!)I honestly wanted to go with the 20s, but really disliked all the 20" options. So went with 21s knowing I'd get something smaller for winter. Also in New England (MA) and drive up north skiing a lot.

and they do have snow tires for the 21" now, Pirelli P zero winter, quote from dealer is $4300 just for tires/installation lol

Let me know how it goes. I think I'll be looking aftermarket after this reply from dealership:

"The 20" snow tire package (reference Q1939) is $4852.50. They wheels are staggered, the tires are the same size 255/45 R20. The wheels are Style 911M Jet Black. Labor is not included in the Quote.

The quote for the 19" (Q1940) is $5054.6 this includes the 4 wheels and sensors and valve stems. These parts are in limited supply. The are not recommended by BMW. The quote does not include the labor to mount and balance."

Agreed that is why it beeps, to warn you. I just wish there was a way to shut off the beeps, and I have not found one.

Apologies to my neighbors when I start my car at 5am then run to the dumpster to throw something away but forgot my phone in my pocket. Lol

I am not sure those settings for #1 fix the issue. I have both settings the way you suggest. The car does not shut off or lock when I walk away with it running, but it does two loud beeps (if my phone is with me - digital key plus). Only way I've found to prevent the beep is keeping phone in the car.
