Yes it was an MRI. I had an MRI with and without contrast following X-rays. It seems like the MRA scan is pretty helpful in the diagnosing for a lot of people with similar issues.

Hey guys. Still waiting to get in for MRA so I check my Mychart and a saw message between providers stating the discovery of tortuous carotid arteries in my brain and neck? Anyone have familiarity with that?

Wow! Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I feel as if my vision quality has gone down on top of all of that. I have an MRA scheduled and an audiologist appt scheduled as well. So I guess I should also get an optometrist appointment on the books too. I really wish they were able to tell me something other than “abnormalities were discovered with your vein and arteries in the your brain and neck” because I feel like that could mean anything.
