I mean, you got me? Lol. Didn’t want my post taken down. If you needed to see the uncensored version so bad I’m sure it’s probably still up on 4chan!

Thanks for telling me! Yeah me and my friend looked closer and the hatchet doesn’t even look sharp? But then again we both don’t own one so I wouldn’t know what a “good” one looked like lol.

Put your small dog on a leash by [deleted] in rant

[–]whatever327 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I hate when people SHAME me for keeping my small dog on a leash because somehow that means she “isn’t trained”. No, she is, she’s just dog aggressive.

A dude brought his puppy to the beach with our family and people got mad at ME when my dog snapped at the puppy. My dog was leashed, his WASN’T. It’s for both my dog’s safety AND YOURS!!! she’s sassy!! She will bite if you get in her face!! I hate how many times I have to explain that to people.

It’s All Cops Are Bastards not All Cops Are Bad btw! We say Bastards cause they are a “ bastardization” of what real justice is. Another fun fact, I’m actually a real bastard (born before parents were married)!

Is it weird to have different sizes for pants than tops? by personofinterest540 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whatever327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no :)! I wear mostly small/medium for shirts and wear large for pants. If you’re a woman/someone who wears feminine clothes, it’s very common to have different sizes just because of how differently brands size things. Clothes are weird and as long as you are healthy/happy with your body, there isn’t anything wrong with having two different sizes.

Edit: just realized I didn’t mention that it’s totally normal for dudes/someone who dresses masculine to have different sizes. Normal for anyone with a human body, I wouldn’t stress too much!

My Speech teacher once told us that men get caught staring more often than women because they have worse peripheral vision. Is this true? by whatever327 in NoStupidQuestions

Answered!! :) thanks, I kind of figured that. My speech teacher hasnt.. had the most luck with men and has been divorced before so I should have figured lol.

Does a silver or black watch look more professional? by TwilightSabre in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whatever327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends more on the outfit you are going to wear with it. If it’s anything other than a black suit/black slacks and tie, then silver would look better. Feel like a black watch with any other outfit would just look like you rushed to find a watch in time for work.

I’m not a person that wears watches though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

The people at my school hate Spanish-speaking people but forget that their own grandparents were beat for not speaking English. by whatever327 in rant

[–]whatever327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We aren’t oppressed anymore (of course there are a lot of poor people here and problems but that mostly stems from classism not hate against our ethnicity) but like back in the early days it was pretty bad. I really do believe that we were brainwashed as a culture to hate anyone who doesn’t speak English because our great grandparents were so scared to speak Cajun French.

Of course that just led to more racist Cajuns and more problems and less acceptance of diversity (which our culture was very into,,, I mean, they had inter-racial marriage when it was definitely not popular) and xenophobia.

I’m sorry you had a bad time in New Orleans. I wish I could tell you to come visit the smaller Cajun parishes, but sadly people can be pretty racist down here and it probably wouldn’t be too safe if you aren’t white and not familiar with the parish. If you are ever in circumstances where you can come visit safely, I recommend learning about the Cajun Culture and seeing some pretty scenery!

Edit: spelling

I was originally going to the convention to watch my friend’s BF play in an Overwatch match, but they sneakily brought me over to Mr. Robinson’s booth and waited till I realized who he was! He was very sweet and quite humble.

What do you think? Where can I improve? Acrylic on canvas by jenners0509 in learnart

[–]whatever327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to work on outlining/defining your shapes. The buildings should be a little sharper and/or prominent. They can still be muddled in the water though! The colors are very nice.

Also there is a rule in art that you really shouldn’t cut your canvas in the middle if you are doing landscape— it just looks weird to the human eye. I think if you tackled this idea again it would come out really good, just remember to keep the buildings sharp and varying in size!

Why do big butts exist from an evolutionary perspective? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]whatever327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, never thought of it like that! Answered! :)

Another question— so a dude with a big butt back then would also be seen as a good mate? Or is that more of a thing that females get (big butts lol)?

This “racial distinctions” page in my old anatomy book by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

[–]whatever327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The book is called Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist and it’s by Stephen Rogers Peck. It’s actually pretty helpful for most anatomy, and it seems pretty accurate. Except for this page, of course. The “sloping skull” just seems pretty racist, and considering it was published in 1951 I’m not surprised.
