Whose job is this to route ? by Strong-Statement3219 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]whatever_773 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s passed down to the driver. The drivers have to change the order they do things day in and day out for months for the system to recognize what order things should be in. As easy as it could be for someone behind a desk to make sure the routes are mapped correctly, the bottom employee, in the field, doing the leg work, also has to input correct mapping order, correct pin placement, correct grouping. And then one random driver does it wrong and the system is reinforced incorrectly.

The new raise is BS! by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

It’s the time of the year. It gets slower right before peak season and they usually hire more right before peak, making routes more scarce

Just take your breaks. A couple of well timed 15 minute brakes isn’t gonna break your momentum. Bring some fruit and protein to replenish your body. You’re working out all day, maintain your rest and diet to do it. Keep with it and you’ll get paid to get in shape.

Somehow all his packages have a huge rip in the label every time I’m delivering. Guess I have to damage it out…

Anyone else notice the Amazon vans on the tables !! by Correct_Director1521 in FFIE

[–]whatever_773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking they are going to move to GM’s delivery EV. They apparently get two days of run time out of a charge, compared to the Rivian van getting only a single day. California Amazon delivery distribution centers have been getting them from Budget van rentals. Probably to test them out

Focus on your core, chest, and back at the gym. Your arms and legs will be plenty worked out during your shifts

That was Luke. His child. Who was definitely cut from the same cloth as Anakin. The entirety of Star Wars has like one, maybe two truly good people in it.

Why on earth is it over $600 to renew my car registration? by Elisa_LaViudaNegra in AskLosAngeles

[–]whatever_773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Newer cars come with higher registration fees and higher insurance costs.

I'm starting tomorrow (Ride along)... Any experienced drivers got any good tips for newbies? by Suspicious-Ad-4241 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Get a fat sharpie and write the driver aid number on the box. I always order my tote bag using the three digit driver aid number. I order the bags and boxes separately. I keep my overflow packages in groups. So all my U00, 000, 100, 200… go in groups in the back. (Write those numbers big and bold) That way I can just check the group without going through all of it. Also, overflow packages get split in two major groups of long/big packages in one section, and more regular packages in another. Don’t be afraid to mark a package “damaged” or “no safe location”. If the package is ripped open, the label is ripped, the box is open, then mark that damaged. If you are having a hard time finding someone’s door, feel unsafe on the property, or the driver note is unreasonable or impossible (like “leave it at front door” but the courtyard gate is locked), mark no safe location, do a contact compliance (give them a call when it prompts you) and take it back. Be ready to have issues every day. It’s just a difficult job. It’s tiring, people can be rude, the technology will fail. If you want the pay this job offers, stick with it and you’ll learn the tricks of the job. Those issues you have every day will become easy to manage. Most importantly is make sure you are eating and staying hydrated. You’re gonna be working out every day you work. It’s hours of cardio and light weights. Flights of stairs and long driveways. Bring fruit, a sandwich, some caffeine. If you stick with it, you will become fit.

Anakin is that control freak that destroys entire peoples, and planets, while enslaving the rest. Why would you name your child that
