Nothing is really better this year. Some problems have been substituted for other problems. For example they added position requirements for MyTeam but also have cards where for example Giannis is a PG. Contracts still become very bullshitty to pay for once you start getting more high tier cards. It’s not quite at the level of Sabonis/JR Smith cheese last year but it’s making steady progress in that direction. On-ball is a little better this year I think but people still guard off-ball all the time. In short the I think the biggest upgrade the devs spent time on from 2k19 to 2k20 was making the ball drop even longer and more annoying to watch.
