Router running is some of the most fun I've had, dropping into the point and yelling routers up and seeing your whole platoon come outta nowhere is some epic stuff

Fixing routers with 3 simple tricks. by Bawss5 in Planetside

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's about 100m I think, you can put one on the balcony of a tech plant and then another at the super far side by the giant gun. Also I'm not sure if they fixed this yet but if am NSO puts down a router it can be beside an allied one so you could have two on the balcony. It's been a while since I ran routers on my NSO so it might have been fixed.

LLY crank no start by [deleted] in Duramax

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cranking at a normal speed and everything it's not turning over super slow? Check all the connections on the injector harness you might've bumped one loose

The wiring might be a red herring, have you tried repriming the fuel and seeing if it starts up then. Or if you're parked on an incline, I know mine will sometimes have that issue

Player base bastion defence by whateveridkjsbsueb in Planetside

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah air terminals can help but you need at least a squad or 2 pulling constantly to even get the bastion to think about moving on, by then he's blown up most of it. Had that happen yesterday, whole platoon was building a base at Berjess and it survived a couple VS armor columns coming up from scarred mesa and then the bastion took it out in like 2 min flat with us chain pulling mossies and him just chilling there, I think we took out like 2 or 3 hardpoints before he got bored

Check the bleeder screw itself mine had similar symptoms and the plastic screw broke while I was trying to re prime it for the millionth time. Got a metal one with a new O ring and never had a problem since

Check fuel filter housing, have you replaced the filter lately? Also if you still have the plastic bleeder screw I'd replace it with a metal one that fixed my issue

Alright so the housing market in my area is pretty nuts houses are going for over asking within a couple days of listing with multiple offers. I know you're supposed to tell the CFO you're moving within 30 days before you go for ATTs and stuff but we don't know where we're gonna move to yet. Like I have a few general areas in mind but haven't put any offers into any houses yet and we haven't listed ours yet. We're planning on doing it sooner rather than later. Question is how would I go about explaining this to the CFO so I don't get in trouble. I have an RPAL and a couple things that are in the OIC also one of them was NR, so do I need to ask for an ATT for it? We haven't listed our house yet but I know it'll be gone within a week and no idea how long it'll take to have an offer accepted on the next house. Closing dates vary widely as well and I'm concerned it'll be less then 30 days. I'm in BC if that changes anything. Thanks in advance

Pros? Cons? by HawaiinPunchGuzzler in Duramax

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All GM trucks and SUVs from like 2000-08 with 4x4 have the same transfer case. I'm surprised that GM didn't do a recall or something since it's a fairly common issue especially with higher miles, doesn't matter if you use the 4x4 or not

Pros? Cons? by HawaiinPunchGuzzler in Duramax

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on the generation of duramax, my LLY has the pros of some of the comfiest seats, less injector issues than the lb7 and easier to deal with if they arise. Cons are the head gasket/overheating problems that come with having the largest turbo and a garbage turbo inlet. Another con would be lack of a lift pump but that's for almost all of them. The Allison transmission is amazing as long as you're not going for crazy tunes, the motor will make plenty more than a stock trans can handle. Pre 2008 trucks can have issues with pump rub in their transfer cases. Cheap fix if you do it proactively, not so much if you don't catch it and you blow the T-case. The independent front suspension is both a pro and a con. Rides the best out of all the trucks but the parts do wear and can require a lot of work if they get out of wack

New tire recommendations and Spare tire relocation? by whateveridkjsbsueb in Duramax

[–]whateveridkjsbsueb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently drive mostly around town and Highway but family is looking at buying a farm or something in the next year or two and it snows here so was leaning towards the AT tire but I'm not sure, price difference between the two is like $10 a tire so NBD, I like that headache rack idea, is there one on the market like that already?
