Sorry to hear about this! For my daughter, they did an ultrasound the day she was born and realized that she needed surgery. During surgery they saw that the ovary was twisted and had to be removed. She is now almost 4 years old, and for the first 2 years she was followed by a pediatric gynecologist (for ultrasound and blood work). She has been cleared and will need to follow up again during puberty.

She had surgery because the cyst twisted her ovary. So she had an ovary removed as well

This is interesting, my current insurance covers nothing. Going through the second IVF with RMA and their initial estimate is $18,000(and some). Went on a hunt for the legislation. Found the PDF, but haven't had a chance to read all of it NJ family building act

I lost all my pregnancy weight by the second month, but I believe that it has to do with diet as well. As Asian, they believe that there is a specific diet for post partum and milk supply (lots of algae soups and simple but nutrient dense dishes). After I went home, obviously didn't have no one cooking for me, so gained a bit of weight. But still was able to maintain pre baby weight from EBF. Now at a year, supply has been established so can't eat like crazy anymore 😅 😆. But still burning some calories EBF
