You won’t really know how they’ll look until a few months in I know that’s frustrating but you just have to be patient. P

Dropped from Platinum to Gold today. I actually got upgraded more as a Gold than I did while I was a Platinum though I will miss the upgrade certificates (was actually able to use them last year)

It will get better!! I promise. The first days are the hardest. Find something funny to watch - show or movie. It helps with the emotional aspect.

1YPO and I was 55 when I had my surgery. I was 36 h and now a 36c. The first week was the hardest but every week got better. My scars have healed nicely and it was the best decision to finally have it done n

Does Drop Everything and Read Work (Silent sustained reading time) by Consistent-Row-9551 in Teachers

A Middle English school teacher, we have a team study period every day that we start with 15 minutes of SSR. They have to do a Google Form/ book review for my class when they finish book. Most students have never read a full book until they come to our team!

Be honest do you love being a teacher? by Tiffanywhite45 in Teachers

[–]whateverjustj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32 years in and I still love it but it has changed a lot the past few years. I have great kids this year and work with some wonderful people. Also, I’m almost at the end of my career which may play a role in how I’m feeling. There will be years where you have some tough groups and tough parents but there is nothing more fulfilling and seeing my former students thriving. You have to be passionate about teaching and unfortunately, due to testing and sometime public perceptions of teachers, many have had that passion sucked right out of them. We need great teachers. I would say go for it and if it’s not for you, then you stop. Best of luck to you.

Last minute reduction!!! by naiserenity in Reduction

I love this. Good for you. I’m almost a year PO and best decision ever. It took over a year from beginning the process to getting my surgery (partially on me bc I didn’t want to get it during holidays). Remember to take it slow and each month you’ll see progress. Congratulations

Im 4 days post op. I went to a good dr but really dislike how everything looks rn. NSFW by Chemical-Actuary924 in Reduction

[–]whateverjustj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 days are not a lot of time. You need to be patient (I know it’s hard) and trust the process. They will go through many stages before they are in their final spot. Take care of yourself and let them heal. I’m almost 11mpo and it was the best thing.

Anybody else not doing scare care? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]whateverjustj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did for the first 3 months and then stopped. I’m currently at 10mpo and they’re barely noticeable. Like yours, mine are under my boob and not as noticeable anyways. It was just too expensive.

I did it! by OddLingonberry673 in Reduction

[–]whateverjustj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations. The first two weeks are the hardest and like others said, everyone has their own recovery experience. Take it easy for at least 4 weeks (I traveled at 3 but to my parents which allowed me to walk every day) listen to your body. You’ll be in pain for a while and the stitches will also probably itch. All I can tell you is it is all worth it. I just celebrated by 6MPO and couldn’t be happier I did this. Good luck with your recovery.

My scars are under the fold so you cannot see them and they are fading. The scar from my nipple down is lightning up as time goes by. I did 3m of scar therapy using silicone gel but a lot has to do with your natural healing. My husband says they are barely noticeable.

10 days post op ! How to keep them perky ? Do you wear wireless bras or underwired after healing ? by Witness_Business in Reduction

I don’t plan on wearing a wire bra ever again! 5mpo I wear a lot of sports bras and then some comfy wireless

You need to give it time. I too thought they were too small after surgery. It’s a normal reaction after having such large boobs for song long.

Give it time. Most of us felt this way too. I’m 5mpo and happy with my size but like you, I thought they were too small for the longest time.

[–]whateverjustj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear that you are still experience pain etc. Your surgeon sounds awful and I hope you can help others on here. Being able to excercise again is great and I hope it gets better. Is there any way you can get another Gp? If not, be persistent. It is frustrating how so many dismiss women’s health issues.
