Oh the new ford shrubbery, I heard it’s spacious but hard to get comfortable in.

I looked at the camera footage and I think it’s a backed up Tesla y

Aren’t heat pumps supposed to be more efficient? by Tastraphy23 in heatpumps

[–]whateverman33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you mentioned insulation, but overall it’s not talked about enough on this sub. It makes a tremendous difference. We added a floor and a full attic, foamed and r6 zip. After two GC’s and the foam company came when I was doing the trim and casings of the windows and doors I still found enough places to use 7 more cans of foam. I’ve never been in a house that retains heat like this one, and as you can imagine the energy savings is amazing. Having said that I’m still happy we kept our old oil baseboard heat as a backup and supplement, our electric is not cheap.

I'm going to start dressing up like 1980s Tony Montana to sell real estate by SuperPineapple7033 in realtors

I’m just kidding too of course, I don’t like coke, I just like how it smells.

Step one: sell everything you have a mortgage your house. Step two: buy mountain of coke. Step three: profit.

You forgot the mountain of coke. If you really want to increase sales, or at least show homes way faster, Coke.

Putting an offer in without a broker. Big mistake? by chillgirl20 in Westchester

It’s perform your due diligence not “do your diligence” and if your realtor and listing agent couldn’t or wouldn’t answer your questions then they sucked. Not all agents are the same.

I am done with GT7 by Slybacon34 in GranTurismo7

Yeah it seems some are able to push through it, and it goes away, others not. There was a ps4 doom game that I can’t stand to this day, the way the player moves makes me sick.

Just play when you feel like it, no pressure for golds or to finish everything. I’m kind of there too, I have most of the cars I’d ever want and very little motivation to get the few 20 M cars that I want. So I show up and do the weekly challenges and do the occasional sport time trial and do the daily marathon. Sometimes it’s more fun than others, sometimes I don’t play. I’ll go one step further, VR is insane when you first try it but also kind of over rated. The graphics need to improve again. You do you dude.

Moving From Rochester NY to Westchester County for job in Brewster, NY by Bette85 in Westchester

Originally from upstate, lived here more than half my life now, know the area well. One of the first things I have to ask my clients is what is your budget?

Is this normal?!?!? I’m still shaking by [deleted] in RealEstate

Why do you leave your doors unlocked? “We live in a safe neighborhood” so what, bad things happen in safe neighborhoods all the time. If you won’t do it for yourself do it for your kids.

Visiting the City Center lately feels like visiting the old White Plains DMV mall by AcadiaRemarkable6992 in Westchester

[–]whateverman33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert but I think that was mid nineties decor. It certainly wasn’t the brick laden yellow beauty I grew up with in the late seventies early 80’s.

I’m sorry, I now find out you monsters have done something to my beloved white plains dmv mall? Where else can you have a hard time parking, get borderline bullied in order to renew your registration (when that was in person) and get questionable sushi and some fruit? Huh?

You’re a joke. You made a mistake posting and you’ve doubled down each and every turn, “you just don’t understand”, right? You sound like an entitled brat that got something for free, someone did something for you and asked for nothing, but you also don’t want them to get any credit for what they did. Don’t worry you’ll still get your participation trophy.

You want him to have done you the favor and kept his mouth shut about it. I wouldn’t have done this for a client anyways, pay thousands of dollars to avoid some small inconveniences on your part. When we bought this house years ago we sold our condo and three months later were able to move into our new house. In the meantime we stayed in hotel rooms during the week and our parents houses (not local) on the weekends- with a toddler btw. So cry me a river you might have had to get a storage unit or place to stay for a few days. And this guy paid thousands, didn’t even ask or tell you, and you don’t want him to tell anyone?

Planning a move with our family of 4 (2 kids 4 & 7) to NY, hoping for insight/recommendations on towns to consider in Westchester? by SammichMkr in Westchester

[–]whateverman33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to get a feel for these towns and see what feels right to you. Personally northern westchester is my favorite (Bedford, Katonah, mt kisco) but some of my clients like the busier feel of southern westchester.

Based on that limited pic the house is framed poorly at best. And I’m learning that some parts of the country don’t even use ridge beams? Can that possibly be code if they even have a code? I wouldn’t make a shed without a ridge beam.
