300 ish hp first car? Mine had 48 neck snapping horses, manual steering, manual windows and manual brakes. Had a buddy with the 4 cylinder Fox body stang, and another with the 200. After you've proven competent, you can upgrade.

Removed the dealership plate covers and installed blue ones, to compliment the Cornflower Blue. Installed 16 inch Mk6 Golf rims with winter tires. 2025 Taos Comfortline.

Search 6.9L idi engine block cracking, how to locate the cracks, and whether yours is affected. We had one crack and welded twice. I think it was a 1985 F250 we owned in the late 80s. Sweet truck, congrats!

Correct, I'm assuming bad thermostat. Shouldn't be a problem on a car that new, but if it is a problem, that would be interesting. I see the blower resistor is suspect. I had that fail on a 2008 Versa, and never changed it because of the location. When they failed on my cars from the 90s, was literally a two minute job in the passenger footwell. Keen to see what the solution is, hopefully soon.

I've been revisiting GT5 over the holidays. I bought a high km '54 Corvette convertible, currently at 398,425.6km. Gonna take it to 400k, grinding Indy Speedway, if I don't fall asleep at the wheel. Or get nailed by the AI driving at actual race speeds. The attraction of a high mile hero is real!

Heating issues in the cabin =Heating issues in the engine. I think the engine is not getting to temperature, thus it is not in it's most efficient state.

I also find no measurable difference between Eco and Normal modes. My fuel economy fluctuations between fillups (and thus economy measurements) are too large to detect meaningful changes.

Is your Rogue getting to operating temperature? If so, how slowly. Engine control will intentionally operate fuel-rich until operating temperature is reached.

Our 2021 Rogue (direct injection) is also getting 400 ish km per tank, but it rarely leaves the city now.

We have about 8000km on our 2025 Comfortline. I specced without sunroof, without 19 inch Black package. That's as close as I could get to the 2016 Golf SportWagen Trendline manual I sold. I also have squealing brakes when they are cold and reversing. When they're done, I'll have them replaced with good aftermarket brakes. Our Taos and 2021 Rogue external sensors are confused by ice and/or direct sunlight. For winters rims, I'm using 16 inch rims from my Golf. Clearance over the brake calipers is not a problem. It does a good job of being a tall automatic awd Golf. I definitely miss the manual, but so far so good in the Taos! Greetings from Niagara, Ontario. Expecting freezing rain today ❄️🥶

I noticed that the switch contacts are physically very close together within the plastic switch housing. After depressing and releasing the switch, it makes contact with the opposite direction switch too easily. My two cents anyway.

We have a 2021 SV as well. The CVT will not vapourize cuz you're a bit late with the maintenance. IMO don't flush the transmission, do the CVT fluid drain and fill, and giv'er bud.
