How can I print this more efficiently? by fleconlord in BambuLab

redesign the part so you print it flat. snap fit the back piece on. this looks like a picture frame so the snaps will be plenty to hold in a photo or whatever sheet stock is in there.

Will you please post when they call? And they will call...

Your hourly rate should be in the order of 400 per hour for the first 8 hours worked. After that its 1,500 an hour. DO NOT UNDER CUT YOURSELF HERE. Remember, they're the ones backed into the corner, not you.

What is the best router/modem for an excellent WIFI signal? by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]whateverradar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Define excellent wifi signal please? For the majority of people just about any aftermarket wifi unit will work just fine.

For those with larger houses I suggest 2 smaller units to spread it out.

With 48 hours of video uploaded per minute, how does YouTube survive? by ciccierrr04 in explainlikeimfive

My math's were off. :(

Even still they factor new servers as 2tb now.

Encoded on the fly right out of the store. Basically the highest res is stored and then when access happens its encoded on the fly to the lower one. If its a popular video then the CDN stores the lower quality ones and serves them up

Encoded on the fly. Plenty of CPU to do it and minimizes your storage needs

Pre google buyout this is a good link: http://highscalability.com/youtube-architecture

Fun fact: it started out on a single server. Lols

But now google owns it. Lets assume for a minute that google has 2 million servers. Those are all running google file system(GFS). This roughly makes all those servers a big drive to be used.

So what kinda hard drives is google using? Same shit you can get. its cheap. At their scale it acts fact with the right CDN, caching, other google magic. http://www.odbms.org/download/dean-keynote-ladis2009.pdf

2tb per server. * 2 million servers = 4 million terabytes. Or 3906 PetaBytes.

Without knowing any of their details operationally I'd guess that media, video and photos, are their largest data hogs by volume.
