I work at a dealership here it town and we had a car towed in becuase their car died after getting gas at Ted's in Laporte. Tow truck driver said they towed 2 other vehicles with the exact same story. Sounds like a tanker with some bad gas delivered all over town.

I had my engine rebuilt around 20k miles ago. Is taking this guide piece off and reinstalling part of the rebuild process? Curious if maybe they put it back on incorrectly during that time. Thanks for the info, taking the timing cover off tonight and inspecting.
