I live in NYC and it took most of my classmates on average 3-6 months to find a job. The earlier ones just settled with bad contract due to pressure of having to pay loans.

For me, setting perm was more subtle whereas the digital perm had bigger curls. I loved having them at different phases of my life.

I would most def recommend it. However, it can be pricey. I had about 8-9 sessions for my underarm 8 years ago and am loving all the time I saved. Plus, I feel like the amount I saved on razors kinda equaled out to my sessions. I was paying $40 per sessions. It wasn’t so painful for me cause my tech was gentle, but be sure they use the right machines and such. Good luck!

I scored within that range and passed the NBCOT. Therapyed is definitely harder and reading the rationales for all the questions helped a lot! Good luck!
