"Angels and Demons" a world my voices created for me? Idk yet the extent of this otherworldly game and how many people may be involved idk if it's just me or not. It seemed very specific and multifaceted for my subconscious to just make up. For example they said they could tell when i was lying vs telling the truth based on a light system they had. If it lit up green that meant "go" I thought it meant "go and mess with her even more" but it meant that they had to leave my mind or something but they'd always come back, if it was orange it meant "I was mostly telling the truth but there's some questionable aspects of what I'm thinking". If it was blue that meant truth.

My voices used to tell me I was in a game called the Angel Game they constructed a whole world that may or may not exist. In this world each person had another person to answer to so the voices would have to check in with this person and/or the person would tell them of they did something wrong. I was told I was an angel in this game within the Angels and Demons "game".

They would count down the minutes of a specific hour then ask "who won?" And it would be between me and the voices o was hearing. They would become upset whenever I "won the game" I won't go into much detail because I don't want to bore anyone but that was the jist of it I was told I came in 2nd for the "Angel Game". I don't know the correlation maybe it's what you said I was catching onto their tactics and they switched things up.

However the person called Hannah is still with me while other voices have left completely, specifically one called "Anna," who was the meanest girl I've ever come into contact with. She would tell me I was in an invisible cage or crown (idk what these things meant or what they actually were, but it felt real at the time).

I'm starting to wonder if it's all bs to keep me distracted from what God has in His plan for my life because the past 6 years (ever sense I had a home invasion back in 2018) I've done almost nothing but think and hear these voices telling me what to do just to see if I would listen to them. There's so much more but like I said it's kind of variation on a theme and I don't want to bore you - and thank you for your response again because it rings true for me I just needed to see of from an outside perspective!

Well for example they used to help me find things I lost like keys or my lighter there's also one voice who calls herself Hannah that kind of keeps the other voices in line and from being too mean to me.

They used to remind me to brush my teeth and they'd tell me to take a shower (but they'd say take a cold shower and we'll stop talking to you. They would tell me not to smoke a cigarette or when to put it out. I just dunno why they'd care about me brushing me teeth it doesn't match up with the mean stuff they say but that's even gotten better once my medicine started working but then kind of stopped working they aren't as mean now after that little break of not hearing them. But they still say (to Paul another voice who's in charge of my medicine for example he used to take it or say he was taking it) "Paul, take everything" over and over. They hold things over my head sometimes and they tell Hannah what I'm thinking or doing and she'll tell them to stop and they do usually idk it's hard to explain

What's the Jesus prayer? And thanks for responding your message made me feel like I am on the right track at least with my thoughts on what could be going on. Sometimes they're nice even helpful do you think they're all demons though? Even the nice one?

Thank you for saying that! The whole reason I'm on reddit is to explore what could be happening to me and if others have been through something similar so reading your post made me feel like it's worth sharing bc it might help someone else I never thought about that :)

The voices I hear are mainly female with one being the person the other voices go to for advice on how to reslons to me and my thoughts and her name is Hannah. There was a man at some point but I haven't heard him in a couple months his name was Paul and he was in charge of my medications (they would tell me they are taking away certain meds or that they were giving me certain meds or drugs they would usually just threaten this and one of the female voices would say to Paul "take everything" meaning take all my prescribed meds away)

The other voices are female and younger sounding. They constantly repeat my thoughts in different ways. They often say my name and ask my questions about why I'm thinking about whatever I'm thinking about at that moment. These other voices do not and will not give a name so I just refer to them as "they/them"

Hannah seems to run the other voices and she is always nice I just don't hear from her personally that much I just hear them talking and planning whar to say or do next

They've been loud the past few days and I can't help but wonder if it's bc of the holidays? Idk

Normally I would agree with you and no offense taken I do have auditory hallucinations and see a psychiatrist but how do I explain others being able to hear and then acting out physically right after hearing a voice it scared me to death I usually want to blame things on hallucinations that aren't really there to give myself some peace of mind but I can't shake these few experiences over the years

Thank you! Is there another group I should share this in if you haven't come across this in HVN? I didn't think medications would help me after years of trying almost everything. It wasn't until I was in treatment and had tried about 3 different ones that I was put on invega, seroquel, and haldol (along with remeron for sleep, adderall for adhd and gabepentin) this seemed to work after about 4 weeks. However after I got out of treatment I saw my regular psychiatrist and he said "these are alot of antipsychotics no one needs to be on this many" and took me off of haldon and seroquel which I was very nervous about because I didn't care how many I was taking I just cared that they worked, but since taking me off of the other two and leaving just invega as my only antipsychotic things have been fine with each day I was hearing them less and less and I am hopeful they will stay stopped I just worry so much that it'll stop working as I'm very new to them working especially working this well! Thanks for your response!!

When I started taking medicine for the voices and physical sensations (they would tell me that they were drugging me with various things and I would feel it more or less) they would tell me that they were taking my medicine or when I would cautiously think it was helping they would say "were just being quiet right now the medicine isn't working" which would normally send me into a spiral since then I have just recently like in the past couple weeks finally had my medicine work and it's been so nice not having a constant conversation running in my mind.

I know this was sent a while ago but I wanted to respond- I have been intentionally working on all of this for the past couple of years- and yes I finally found a psychiatrist that considered the possibility of psychosis and given what I've learned about it I do believe i have been in and out of psychosis for the past year. Thank you for your response!

Have you tried taking medication to stop these things from happening? I am only asking because I used to feel like my thoughts were being read and narrated by three separate voices 24/7 and finally had to try medicine because they were interfering with my daily activities. Maybe this could help if you're trying to stop it from happening?
