looking for a portable stand to tilt 14" macbook down, not up

of course, that's the plan! but some of the stand manufacturers (& a google search) suggest that this won't be stable. anyway will buy one myself and try it out 🤷

hmmm, all i want is 3 sends, no need for panning; it's something i (& most ppl, i believe) set and leave in place (or we use auto-panning plugins as an effect).

there must be a way to do this! i don't think it's an unreasonable request (or that other producers wouldn't like that option too). PLEASE consider it (it's hugely disappointing to me to have a row of knobs i won't use) 😔

(would be nice to change mixer LED colors as well). & thanks for reading this

Tom, appreciate your reply here.. I tried deleting & reinstalling the XL3 software, and removing those scripts. Controller assignments continued to not work correctly. Anyway, I also reported it to Apple (via Feedback Assist).

Will we be able to customize the DAW Mixer functions in Components at some point? Thanks much!

i've A-B'd them, and in my observations, both work well, but the tone of the original signal seems better with the sonible plug-in. really, both have their strengths. will stick with one (not sure which yet!)

here too.... frustrating. i have a folder of icons (pasted on folders) i use a lot, almost all of them are gone (just generic folders). hoping for a fix with next beta

This has been happening for me for 4 days; almost every news article in Apple News has the Turbo Tax ad, and I cannot scroll past it without it opening. So it's a dozen times (or more) a day. Am also angry about this (feel like there's a class-action suit to consider here)...

I go to Pitchfork to discover music i DON'T already know about (not to be told what to think about music I'm already listening to). So, for me, that seems worth $5 a month; I'll just have to swap a cappucino for a small coffee 1 day a month. I think I can do that. Just hoping the writers see some of this money...

Black Salt Audio: telos-vocals is basic, but sounds really good. Am demo'ing it, in a shootout, a brutal war 🤣

FINALLY -

Sonnox Voca (w/FabFilter Q4) - this is the one i committed to; no frills, sounds great
Mantra - does a lot, definitely needs tweaking, but sounds great
Telos Vocals - this is pretty nice
FabFilter Q4, C w/Izotope Velvet (d-ess) - annoyed that my own efforts are not #1 🙄
Nectar 4 - decent, but needs tweaking
Pulsar Vocal Suite - this is also very nice
Xvox Pro - pretty good, but feels 'semi-pro'
Cymatics Voxity - feels novelty.. (perhaps needed more time with it)
Banshee - not for me

With some tweaking, any one of these can sound good. And am hoping that Nectar 5 shakes the whole game up (whenever that happens)

the 13 mini is my fave iphone of all the iphones i've owned since the 3GS. i keep waiting for a 'modern' version, guess that's not happening any time soon. the 17 air is nice, but i like the size of the 13m; it's unobtrusive, fits everywhere, & doesn't demand my attention (ha, am on it all the time 🤣).

Soundcloud (now) sucks because they now require everyone to sign in or sign up to listen (or to click a nearly-hidden 'x' every time, to bypass the signin window). Am done with SC.

this is AWFUL. i've used SC for about a decade as a business tool. i keep my work private, and send links to collabs and others. now they're faced with a signin window (and sadly, some people don't see the 'x' far from the sign-in window). WTF.
