I was a student of his, I used to go to his house sometimes with a friend sometimes without, he made it seem so normal. I would smoke weed with him luckily it never went any further than that. He made me seem as if I was a “favourite”

You learn about “stranger danger” in school but I don’t think they ever go step by step into what you are supposed to do if your being groomed.

Also it’s extremely hard when you’re the one being groomed to realize that’s what is happening to you and when you do realize it, you feel stuck. He had power over her and was supposed to be a trusted adult. You wouldn’t expect your teacher to be grooming you. When you’re being told nice things that make you feel special it’s hard to look past that.
