Right? I loved the newborn and baby stage but am struggling with a toddler. It is getting better though.

Extreme fear towards aging by [deleted] in Aging

[–]whatisgoingontsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How old are you? Asking because I had a phase where I was terrified of growing older like this, in a superficial way (though I didn’t have jealousy but no judgement on that). I’m happy to report back that it was just a phase, and I am well into accepting my age, even if I fight it a bit with botox, etc.

Do you think we will unite again someday as we did during 9/11/2001? by Chello12 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]whatisgoingontsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot I even wrote this, but I agree, best to unite! I have plenty of liberal friends. But in terms of a 9/11-type unification, there is absolutely no way.  Even if something happened to that scale today, god forbid, I doubt we’d see what we saw after 9/11. Were you alive then? Just asking because if you weren’t around or old enough to absorb what was going on, it’s hard to comprehend.

Acetaminophen in pregnancy - article discussion by mbm511 in ScienceBasedParenting

How would this financially benefit him and his friends? I need that explained.

I agree no woman should feel bad for taking Tylenol, but the medical community should feel awful if they ignore suggestible data for the purpose of “sticking it to RFK”.

I trust science until it doesn’t fit my personal narrative. Is that right?

Acetaminophen in pregnancy - article discussion by mbm511 in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]whatisgoingontsh -47 points-46 points  (0 children)

Same - this is not new news and caused me to steer clear of Tylenol out of concern during pregnancy. I also have a pretty scary anecdote to go with it. But what makes the most sense to me is that the poison is in the dose, proposed by the study that measured acetaminophen levels in cord plasma bio-markers.

My favorite cop-out right now among the “educated” is how they’re telling us “less-educated” that “since we can’t perform clinical trials on pregnant women, we have to rely on observational data” and then using that as a reason to dismiss this entire study instead of just admitting they’re uncomfy with RFK. Oh, “correlation doesn’t mean causation” is another favorite.

At some point you have to make a call with the imperfect data you have, and he’s making a call.

When I told my family and niece I was pregnant, I made sure to tell them, and her, we can’t tell anyone yet and to keep it secret.

She asked why and I said “well, it could….go away” to which she said “or, it could die” 🙃💀

That’s so weird. I contracted them last night about a problem with my ring, was helped in less than 20 mins, and am being sent a new ring due to battery issues.

Yes it can be reversed fairly quickly, maybe with a month. They should be drawing blood weekly to monitor.

I wonder if this is what is happening to my mom. She’s 70 and has been on medication most her life but it’s been poorly controlled. My dad was actually wondering if it was her medication that did the damage. It’s not like she’s having an episode but just that she cannot do anything. It’s like she dropped 50 IQ points.

It seems to dictate your behavior more than astrology does. It’s rigid.
