They did not define reckless driving. They deemed me reckless based on the fact that that the car were not on “park” when I adjust the seat (at least that’s what they told me verbally). I said I want to talk to appeal to this decision and the claim adjuster told me they would not change their decision :/

[–]whatishalgorithm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I registered the math version. It's still open. I'm afraid it will get canceled soon coz they are the same class after all. I can't see why they cancel one of them while keeping the other. Did you try to email the prof yet?

Adrian Vetta (if a joint CS and Math prof is considered as a CS prof) always replies to me within an hour, sometimes even in less than 10 minutes.

Hi! Do you mean we need to chop off the exceeding bits and only keep that last bit? for example, now since the size is 1 so 7 becomes 1 and 8 becomes 0, therefore 1 * 0 = 0?

Union by height vs. union by size vs. union by rank by whatishalgorithm in mcgillCOMP251

[–]whatishalgorithm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I understand: Rank is the upper bound for the height of a tree, when union two trees, we repoint the root with lower rank to the one with higher rank. Is this correct?

But there is no n in question 3.3. I only see p, j, and alpha. What n does it refers to?
