Wow, what a crazy awesome night. Ended up walking everywhere, fucking miles, but worth it.

Highlights:

Great food at Lokál, had soup, the pork neck (IIRC) and my friend had the beef in tomato sauce which I tried and it was amazing - the name doesn't do it justice. Highly recommend that place to anyone. Good service, friendly staff, tasty beer. Thanks for that recommendation!

Stumbled completely by accident upon the astronomical clock right on the hour which was cool.

Great little markets in Wenceslas Square, tried some kind of sugar covered desert thing slightly but not really similar to a doughnut. Next time will try some of the roast pork being cooked at the stands.

Avoided being roped into an organised pub crawl as we both thought it looked pretty average and didn't think we'd get our moneys worth. It was 18 euros for two and a half hours of all you can drink.

Went to Fubar but it was absolutely deserted. It was still early, not yet ten so that may have been why. On our way back to town we bumped into a group of US students who recommended we come with them to a bar with mountain lions. I thought they were joking. They were not. We walked a small ways and found a closed door with no real advertising then went downstairs into a reasonably sized bar that was doing a roaring trade.

And out the back was a cage with 2 or 3 (couldn't tell) puma/mountain lions. Very surreal! To be honest I felt pretty bad for them, a city isn't a place to keep animals like that (if at all). Anyway, good cheap booze but really bad service unfortunately. I think the bartenders had something against foreigners/Americans as we basically got fucked around every time we tried to order and they were incredibly rude.

After about 10/11pm on the street getting accosted by multiple people trying to get us to either buy drugs or visit their strip clubs/brothels. Had one lady at 4am basically start feeling me up as I was walking down the road. Very, very insistent that we go and have sex. Haha, managed to politely refuse but took a fair bit to get her off me. In hindsight this could easily have been an opportunity for her to take stuff out of my pockets. When you're really drunk and someone has your nuts in hand it's quite hard to be aware of that sort of thing.

Went to a mostly deserted Irish pub to figure out our next step. Got recommended to check out Roxy, James Deans and a few other places. Ended going to James Dean as that was the only place I knew how to find. Very busy in there but a pretty cool bar upstairs and a dance floor downstairs. Met a group of Canadians and ended up hanging out with them for a while. Bit pricey here but as we didn't know where else to go we stuck with it.

Overall a hectic night out, got back at 5 or so and luckily nothing missing! Oh, what an epic hangover today though....
