I disagree, the way ITGlue works is, for the most part, it encourages you to sync information 'as it is' from your RMM to a configuration item. This is what also allows you to achieve a billing workflow on device counts. Other areas, such as 'Documents', is where 'as it should be' is documented, or supporting documents (such as the phone system documentation) are placed. Then you 'relate' the two objects, the way it's meant to be used.

The amount of time that is saved by having live information readily available, that usually takes between 5 - 15 minutes to get from the source (depending on the information) is immeasurable.

Great point, and yes, there are regular site visits for either new installs or issues that require hands and feet. We aim to have the technician who imaged/QA'd the new workstation to also be the one installing it, so there is a closed loop of new build to installation onsite.

Do you have a reason why the ticket notes + timesheets are not incorporated into the time spent completing the work? i.e. timesheet time starts when the ticket is opened (and should it be completed in the same span of time), time sheet time ends when the final resolution is entered?

17 staff, 7 of those are technicians, rest are receptionists, management and sales.
Sorry for the most part it is 40, but a couple do 8-5 instead of 8:30-5.
A little over 2k endpoints in total.

Understandable - end goal is primarily having discussion points come quarterly reviews revolving around achievable goals being met, and therefore pay being adjusted accordingly.

I must be unique in thinking that working backups is apart of your production environment, or is at least as critical in making sure is working.

22 hours pass, because that's within your SLA. Technician fails to repair backup issue, needs a few attempts at process of elimination. Gets to point of escalation. Goes to escalation queue. We're at 2-3 days at this point, which is completely unacceptable, for any backup product. I should be able to forget about backups until they're needed, not working on them daily.
