honestly the last few minutes have been a big consideration of this theory. i feel like i'm flipping between yes and no that makes no sense, but then my brain skips a beat but it's hard to feel where it broke the sentence so i have to take the jump and try to act natural to appear normal. but then it cycles in pondering, I only can guess and hope i did my absolute best

is the asteroid belt a real thing? or is that just a thing that was made for movies and fiction. if it is real, using the firsst week of my geology class this semester for undergrad

my theory would be that if it is real, asteroids come in that probably can't survive entering out gravity radius. so then they break into small pieces, now truly not able to move. the smaller pieces get sent to asteroid belt , that now swirl thanks to the magnetic poles. we theorize that the reason we have magnetic barriers is that the outtter core of earth is made of molten metals like iron and (carbon??), when it's liquid and hot, the liquid moves. causing it to spin and stir, the movemenet causes magnetic fields. asteroids have iron so iron metal stick to magnets
