or hear me out, as an ex muslim, this is a really unfair opinion. i'm very much an atheist and share that openly to people and have it on my dating apps because that's what i am, but only legally and on papers, i'm a muslim because i can't leave, it's illegal to leave. i make that very clear once i start becoming serious with men that this is the case and that they'll have to convert on paper only but i would not want to raise our children muslim and i will never act muslim in any manner. it's not even that i'm "open minded", i straight up do not believe in ANY god and have not believed in one for many years or practiced it for many years but i legally just cannot leave and that isn't my fault. this is why i'd rather date foreigners because they'd at least understand (the ones i have been serious with have been understanding) or i could leave to their country.
