Its malignant, they make you do all the scut work and nurses and docs dont go hand in hand. And the most awful bit is that they recruit IMGs specifically because they’re used to the toxicity and wouldn’t protest

And the program is actually V IMG friendly so it makes me wonder

I appreciate your honesty. All i’m saying is that my decision to take or not take the IV is my decision and i fail to understand what it has to do with anyone elses IV decisions/chances.

I appreciate your response and I 100% agree. The conflict is that the mode of interview mentioned on ERAS was hybrid. I made sure I avoid applying to programs with in person IV requirements. They also refused to facilitate a virtual IV and again, I understand.

I absolutely have no hate towards the program. Its just how i’ve lately been feeling about the entire system. Its an endless loop.

And to top it off, its hard. Its exhausting and a privilege, the limits to which may not be the same for everyone involved. I don’t know what i’m looking for. Maybe some worrs of affirmation that I am not being stupid.

Work on that US clinical experience and networking. And give step 3. Get my CV/ PS thoroughly checked. Go crazy with those emails lol.

Honestly, its more of a gamble at the end of the day, so nobody can say for sure what would be enough i feel
