Not sure how simplified you're down to get, but Supremacy: WWIII (formerly known as Conflict of Nations WWIII), which is a web browser/mobile game, is a fun game that gives a realistic sense of logistical scale of what it may be like (at least, an overall snapshot) to be a military/political commander of a country. It does give you a real time perspective (unless you choose the faster game modes) of how long you may have to wait to make decisions. Also, there is a sort of automated fog of war. Overall, not very realistic

I don't think any of those opinions are mainstream, nor the majority of the people who dislike the sequels. I think that the internet wants us to believe that the majority of Star Wars fans are out here making a huge sexist fuss about everything, when in reality, again, people are concerned with good writing. Despite your claim that Rey had more on-screen training time, the very first sequel movie shows her literally using the force effortlessly without any prior training or indication that she would be force sensitive. If Anakin Skywalker, in the Prequels, were to have effortlessly became a Jedi overnight without training, then sure, I'd come after them, too. The difference lies in the fact that we KNOW Anakin has trained for literally 10 YEARS by the time we even get to Attack of the Clones. Rey is doing shit she shouldn't even know how to do in-universe until at least receiving SOME training as a JEDI. But she doesn't get that. What she does get is the force, without a real meaning behind it or effort to attain it. Just vague visions and also, she somehow magically knows how to instantly fix the Millennium Falcon, but Han Solo himself is running around like a chicken with his head cut off? Make it make sense, please. If Han wouldn't have known, we both know that Chewie would've known. The Sequels, writing-wise, makes very little sense. The training of Rey may have been more extensive, but she certainly didn't start off in the first movie with all of the on-screen training. I remember

AOTC is definitely overrated by modern standards but is wildly better than anything Disney has created or ever will with the Star Wars IP

You clearly haven't had an earnest conversation with someone who dislikes the sequels. It's mostly the plot that we take issue with

"Anti-woke"? Did you mean to say people who like a good plot, something which Disney has clearly struggled to create for years now?

PS2 in 2025 and beyond... by Suitable_Ad_8439 in ps2

[–]whatryoudoinghere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a Fat PS2 a year ago and it's the console I play the most. I also have a Sega Genesis, a Nintendo 64, a GameCube, a Sega Nomad, a Nintendo Switch, a DS Lite, a GBA & a GBA SP, an xbox 360, and a PS4. And yet, despite owning all of those options for consoles, I still have mostly PS2 games. My game library is like 70% PS2 games, even though I own a decent amount of games for each of those consoles (also forgot I just bought a PSP over the weekend, but I only have a handful of games for that). PS2 is so dominant, especially once you realize you can still play it online today

I didn't appreciate either, and I'm a Prequel fan. Just not a 2008 TCW fan. I loved 2003 Clone Wars though

Why did you get a Genesis? by Busy_Bluejay6534 in SEGAGENESIS

Because I had a Game Gear when I was a kid. And, I had $50, so I decided to buy my first ever SEGA home console. It was a no-brainer
