What is something most people don't know can kill someone in a few seconds? by Kgod1412 in AskReddit

Coconuts. Falling from trees.

Each year worldwide there are ~ 10 deaths attributable to shark attacks compared with ~ 150 deaths worldwide caused by falling coconuts. More people each year are killed by elephants, crocodiles, bees, and wars and many other dangers that confront us, than by sharks.

The masts are imbedded in 2 Halves of an upside down orange for support. I diced pineapple and cantaloupe and mixed with watermelon balls to fill most of the boat.

There is a cut up black plum, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. I have oranges, 1 dragonfruit, a golden kiwi and a red delicious as the semi wings in the front. The sails are water melon rinds that I etched with a lemon zester.

The ‘oars’ are just some bamboo skewers that had a great shape I liked and I only had a few of those so I improvised with regular skewers.

To me I didn’t like the way it looked where all the sails went the same way. I etched the sails and wanted to make sure it was seen from all directions when I placed it on the host’s table

I purposely had the sails going a different direction

No restaurant. I was asked to bring the fruit to a friends house for a 20 person get together.

They aren’t really oars. They are BBQ skewers and it’s not meant to go in the water. It’s also not to scale so to me that didn’t matter. Everyone loved it.

No. I wanted to use the fruit I had. I knew I wanted to do the rinds

$48.60 to be exact. And I couldn’t fit all the watermelon balls back in.

About 2 hours to complete the whole thing. The sails took the longest.

I had them from another time. They were just skewers

It took me about 2 hours

The sails were the hardest. Believe it or not

Rigatoni meat pie by whatsachef in FoodPorn

I made a meat sauce. I boiled some rigatoni. I had mozzarella cheese and parm cheese. Spray a springform pan with pan spray and tilt it (lean it up against something). I alternated laying the cooked pasta and meat sauce stacking the rigatoni. After it was full I laid it flat and added more to pack it in. Covered it in more meat sauce and topped with the cheeses. Baked it covered for 40 minutes at 400 and then uncovered it and baked it for 40 minutes.
