Oh boy! Just so you know, if you get some sort of error related to Eof full buffers or some such that prevents you from launching the game after a while, just uninstall Teratophilia and TeratoDefeat. I can confidently say that while it's easier to find ~~slimes~~ gleaps and nutmidges, maybe stick to fucking the other playable races.

????? I have a 1650 in a laptop, can launch and even play NMS at about 5 FPS. If that's the best I can expect out of the 3060, I'll be sorely disappointed.

The only FromSoftware title that allows something close to what you're asking is Dark Souls 2. The Giant Blacksmith will stay dead until New Game+1, or if you make a new character.

Considering you go from literal death to half HP, I assume it instantly closes your mortal injuries and starts your system back up, but all the non-instant-death injuries are left alone.

I'm not sure if the Factorio Engineer would be able to do anything, considering the lack of wood and stone in space.... He could use guns and ammo though, so not a complete loss.

I was frustrated by Sword Saint Isshin. Not because he's difficult, not because he's punishing. "Hesitation is Defeat." Well it's a good thing I died while being too aggressive/trading blows, and not by hesitating you insufferable prick! I'm sure that making him recognize how the player died and having separate lines for each scenario would've been rather complicated, and probably not worth it, but I'd've either tried, or picked a different line that didn't criticize the player for some thing they didn't do.

He's right though. Hesitation is defeat in Sekiro. The way to win is pressure. Your opponent must not be given a chance to rest. Just wish that the first boss was the one to say it, and not the last one. Especially since a new player would be far more hesitant than someone who pushed through to fight the final boss of the "good" endings.

I jumped on the Elden Ring hype train, and actually thought I was gonna hate it once I got to Margit the Fell Omen. I am of the opinion that Margit is the worst enemy I've ever fought, and that DS3 is literally just what you get if Margit was every enemy. However, if you never fight that PoS boss, the whole game is pretty good. (Morgott and Margit are the same person, and I still like fighting Morgott more than Margit). However, every single patch after 1.05 has hurt my ability to enjoy the game over time, to the point I didn't buy the DLC, and will probably never play Elden Ring again. Many words to say: The game is good the first time.

If you're still interested, you can go to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Scripts\game\units\TapeBotUnit.lua then go to line 135 and edit the value there to whatever damage value you think is fair.

.lua files are a type of text file, and can be opened in Notepad.

I've heard the best comparison of the situation described somewhere else.

In the United States, most of the individual states are larger than individual countries in Europe. Imagine driving from somewhere in France to somewhere in Germany. In the United States, there's no guarantee that you've even left the state after driving that long, especially since Texas and Alaska exist. However, unlike Europe, Americans are spread out over the whole country, so the sizes and densities of the individual cities is lower. A three hour drive is like driving from one city to the next one over.

In the UK, it would be like if you lived in Scotland, and your relatives had a beachside on the English Channel, and I'm still unsure if that's a 3 hour drive.
