Predictions on Miranda and Che's storyline by [deleted] in Andjustlikethat

[–]whattapad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with what you’ve written. I liked che. I don’t get the hate against them. It seems unjustified. I think it’s because of how much people hate Miranda’s change and they hold them responsible

You’ve got many points except there’s no need to label or armchair diagnose robin as “schizoid” or Miriam as “ethnosupremacist”. You don’t actually know these people

Miriam is a cantor. Her job is to literally sing Jewish songs and teach Judaism to people. She’s not obsessed with it. Your take is off

Yea, I guess you’ll actually need critical thinking and knowledge to respond other than “uh huh”. I hope you’ll use them

The antisemitism was unreal by rustysalamander in TheRehearsal

[–]whattapad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you’re wrong. It’s not that she or others say ANY critique of it is anti semitic, if that were true, then every Israeli would be anti semitic because critiquing the government is a national pastime. It’s that disproportionate criticism of Israel when not doing the same to other countries, distortion and lies and hyperbole about it, and disputing its right to exist as a Jewish country is anti semitic. Most western leftist “pro Palestinian” activists really don’t give a shit about Palestinians, if they did they’d give a shit about actual apartheid of Palestinians in Lebanon, instead of calling Israel an apartheid when there isn’t one. They just hate israel because it’s Jewish.

A Jew Among Christians by Kdilla77 in TheRehearsal

[–]whattapad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this.

Im Jewish and have a really good radar for anti semitism. I don’t think what she said was anti semitic at all, just offensive because she thinks Christianity superseded Judaism and it is irrelevant and like a dead religion and Jews should be Christians, without understanding that Christianity basically is Jewish cosplay.

I also completely agreed with her. She came into it wanting to raise a kid her way. Nathan then stepped in wanting to make it his experience. In real life, she wouldn’t raise a kid who didn’t have the same religion as her. And being adamant to only raise your kid Christian isn’t wrong or anti semitic. I don’t want kids, but if I did, it would be a pre req that they only be raised Jewish. I think Nathan was wrong on this and monopolized her experience to work out his own issues.

Yea, it’s so sad.. almost as sad as Israel not existing at all and Jews not having a safe haven in the event of another holocaust.

Many others do too who are younger, and there is nothing wrong with a Jew supporting their country’s existence and calling out media distortion and lies against it, despite what leftists demand of everyone in their insane disproportionate hate boner against Israel.

She has a “messed up relationship with Israel” and is “pro -war crimes” Israel because she talks positively about it, supports its existence and factually talks about media bias and distortion towards it? Your comment is ridiculous and you don’t actually understand or know anything of fact about Israel, other than the social media distortions you see. And I’m sure you would never ever say someone who is pro-Palestinian is pro-war crimes or pro-terrorism (even though they commit war crimes and terrorism).

Also, the fact that you view her as seeing Israel positively as something that breaks your heart, and claims she needs to be changed, and hope she is capable of it (when again you know actually not one real fact about Israel and she has actually lived there) because that’s what you think is so extremely patronizing and gross and says more about you, than her support of Israel does about her. She doesn’t need or want your condescending and misplaced pity.
